Does anyone appreciate how durable Dobbs is playing behind patchwork mediocre lines for the most part? Seriously he has had a few bad games but I don't know if I ever saw a player with his skill set in durability, awesome deceptional running skills, and passing ability. Yes and that is without a dedicated qb coach as well! Amazing athlete and one of the top VFLs ever to play. He will have to put the team on his back again to defeat Vandy and any D-1 team in a bowl game to compensate for no defensive line and no Evan Berry - but he may pull it off.

Thanks for posting the qb list. Those are always good for laughs after eligibility runs out for the 5 star proclaimed phenomenons.

Said it before. We've been spoiled with his durability. First since Peyton to play extensively in 4 seasons without being sidelined.

We'll see how much we miss his durability and elusiveness next year. I agree he wasn't a world beater throwing downfield. In his defense, he had alot of hinderances also, OL, WR hands/running wrong route, but he missed some throws he should have made. ALL QB's do it. but, his running ability has spoiled us. Wait until Dormady starts to loo like Worley 2.0 on those read option plays. We'll see if he's willing to take a shot on some keeps. We'll also see how durable he is also. Then thinking how poreous our OL is, we'll see how good he can feel pressure from the backside. He better get ready to take a ponding, cause UGa, UF, Bama, and LSU are gonna bring the heat.

Goff got into the game for the Rams yesterday...they still lost to Miami but it was a decent first outing 17-31 134 and 3 rushes for 11 yards

Dobbs is better in every passing category than Hackenburg though? :dunno:

Yeah, I would take Dobbs over Hack...I'd still like to see Hackenberg get a chance with the Jets...most of the time at PSU he had no time to leT his receivers finish routes...and he can't make plays with his legs like Josh

Dobbs is back up for the Manning Award this week and it looks like the Wyoming qb is off to a strong start. Would like to see him win it back to back, so if you are on FB go vote.

I think we got the right qb for us from this Elite 11 group. Besides the on the field elusiveness, we needed his off the field leadership and character. The team leaders kept this team together and focused (minus the SC game ) during a tumultuous season.

Can you post the link for us? Volnation generally wins online votes

17/31 for 134 yards is not "decent". Its terrible. And if you watched the game he was even worse than the numbers suggest. You could tell the coaches were scared to let him throw anything downfield. Everything was check downs.

I said before the draft he would be a bust. He showed nothing in the preseason. And showed nothing in his debut.

Goff is not good. He was a product of the air raid system and NFL teams were fooled by his inflated college stats.

And yet... more 25+ td passes than anyone else in the conference. (With way too many games in which Butch and/or Debord didn't let him throw upfield.)
