That was an awesome run by Dobbs. After the fumble, he picked it up and made a bee line for the first down then turned it into an unbelievable run by tiptoeing down the sideline and diving for the score.

He played a great game today as well as the entire team. What a way to end the year.

And what a way to end the game with Berry's pick. I did not want them to score and when it looked inevitable, Berry took it to the house. :)

And that, folks, is why he's still the starter despite Dormady's oft-touted throwing ability.

Well Berry gave them the option to tackle him.... no wait... nm.

I have been critical of Dobb's throwing all season, but I have to agree with you on this. His ability to make plays like that is the main reason he is the starter. That TD run was a thing of beauty!

Agreed. And he actually threw the ball better today.

Dobbs passing game could use some improvement, but there are several games we lose and a lot of touchdowns that don't happen if he wasn't our QB the past two seasons.

Dobbs has incredible balance. Who else could ride that hover board all over campus without getting injured?

Did it look to anyone else that a NU player took a deliberate shot at a UT player's knees during the run back? Didn't even try to tackle Berry, just lunged at another player's knees instead while Berry ran by. Hope I'm wrong, but a real classless thing if true.

Well you're not wrong. The QB took a rather lazy dive at the legs of one of our defenders.

Yep he missed some open wheel routes. No damage done but we had open receivers.

Yes, I noticed -- this was very, very odd. Would like to see a replay i/a.

I saw it as well. Couldn't decide if it was dirty or if he figured the only way of making a tackle was to create a pile?

Yeah that was an awesome play by Dobbs. Very unexpected for him to score. The crowd loved it. That and Barnett's sack were the most exciting plays of the game.

Every time I think "Dodds can't pass" he does something like that and I think "I'll shut up now"

Evidently you did not see the Manning bootleg against Bama in that win

Yes I most certainly did - my comment stands. Manning bootleg is notable because it was the last thing you'd expect from a pocket passer; and - well, because bama.

Josh Dobbs played beyond what he does best, defying the laws of physics and gravity in one incredible play.

I was impressed with the 1st down. The TD was nuts.

Agreed. I was on the 15 yard line and it was right in front of me. Everyone was celebrating touchdown and I was like "settle down folks, there is no way he stayed in"

I was wrong, give him 6!
