Joshua Dobbs just put his name into UT lore alongside Peyton, Tee, Dale Jones, etc. This game will never be forgotten.

Proud of Dobbs, the way he fought back after that slow start when all the breaks were going against us (dropped passes/ Int). Truly an inspirational performance. The whole team for that matter. Great overall team victory. Dobbs just had that look of determination coming out after the half. This team deserves this victory tonight for all the hard work they have put in on and off the field.

Great game. Did not let the drop balls and INTs bother him

That's crazy to think about, but you're absolutely correct.

When Dobbs can throw and run like he did tonight then there isn't much a defense can do.. We just need it to happen more often. Made some clutch throws in the second half and beat Florida through the air.. Let that set in for a minute. If this guy shows up more this year it's going to be a really good year...

Last year he had less than100 yards passing vs FL and "he can't pass" talk exploded.

This year? 319 yards and 4 TDs!!!

In-fudging-credible!!!

Good point. Didn't even think of that. Dobbs may be remembered for his effort today similar to VFL34 (Mr. Travis Stephens himself) is revered for his 2001 effort in the swamp (which is, to this day, one of my favorite performances from a former Vol -- along with Al Wilson in 1998 vs. UF).

(I'll never forget that run at the 40 second mark)

Can't wait to see a highlight reel of Dobbs effort today once it's up on YouTube.

Congrats Dobbs and UT for an absolutely exceptional and improbable second half revival and game victory! Wonderful effort by the entire team and staff. The streak is over!

I freaking love me some Josh Dobbs. I'm so happy for the kid. He took a lot of heat in that first half. Granted his missed some throws, but the receivers were absolutely killing us with the drops.

It was great to see all parties step up.

Honestly, I didn't know this team had that kind of offensive firepower in them after what we saw the first three weeks. Were we sandbagging? lol

I've wondered if Dobbs is simply that inaccurate, or if Debord/Jones have allowed that impression to keep him under wraps and out of rhythm. Without being under any illusions about his accuracy, I'm a lean towards the later.

Helluva' game for him. That OL gets a nod, too, for giving him some time to pass.

Dobbs was 7-9 on passes over 10+ yards in the 2nd half.
