The 1998 team had Al Wilson, leader extraordinaire. This team has some good leaders as well. These leaders seem to be instilling a drive in the whole team. A drive to win. I like it!

I knew the Shoop hire was great the second I heard we got him. It's been pointed out his gameplan-- chaos and blitzes; his personal drive, to reach his milestone of getting back to the SEC; the fact that he's consistently prouced top defenses with less talent.. It's so easy to get lost with those reasons for optimism, I never even thought about some of our players revitalized with an opportunity to make their mark that they didn't have with Jancek's scheme.

We often wonder where Dillon Bates is, maybe he and players like him can find their ways to make an impact over the next two years. (Hopefully we can keep Shoop that long.)

Not true in any way, shape or form. Everything I've seen is that he embraces them. Try again.

I've never doubted Butch Jones recruiting ability or his player evaluations. He's amazing at those two facets of coaching.

I just question his in-game coaching ability.

Does he have the stones to go for it on 4th and goal from the 6 inch line OR does he take the FG again?

Does he go for 2 when he's up 12 so that it takes 3 possessions to beat you OR does he go for one again and ultimately lose by giving up 2 TDs?

Upon the recommendations of D4H, we are canceling the remainder of fall camp so we can spend 100% of our time focusing on embracing the hype around our prgram. It is a process each individual will undertake for the next 18 days. This is the BIG Brick that has been missing from our schedule.
Screw the focus on each of our opponents on a week by week basis! We are, instead, focusing on reservations at 5* accommodations in Atlanta and Tampa.
