He will IF he can improve his passing game in the off season. He needs some serious work with a very good QB coach. His passing is very inconsistent. If he could improve his passing he would be a top tier QB.

He would get drafted this year if he went pro. Probably between 5th/7th. Again, part of the problem is the WR's and O-line. Notice how when he has a clean pocket and can step up his throws are good? Like that pass to Malone vs SoCar that Malone dropped. Or that pass to Malone vs UK. Although the pocket was collapsing, he stepped up in the pocket and had time. Yall act like Dobbs has these amazing 1st round receivers and an o-line that gives him tons of time. If anything he needs to work on consistency. Sometime he makes passes that make you say WOW. Other times he throws off his back foot and throws it high or low. When he has time and can step up, he rarely makes a bad throw.

This is what boggles my mind with these guys. It's almost like they have amnesia of every good throw Dobbs makes and just remember the bad throws. I've said constantly he needs to become more consistent. He's missed a lot of easy throws. But he's also completed a ton of difficult NFL caliber throws.

The talent is obviously there. He just needs more reps. I think some here don't realise Dobbs is still a very young QB. He got thrown into the line of fire as a true freshmen summer enrollee. That never happens. He should be a redshirt sophomore right now. And if you look at it that way, then he's progressing quite nicely. I think the mistake is people compare him as a true junior to redshirt juniors and assume he isn't progressing on schedule.

Expect a huge season from Dobbs in 2016. It'll be his 4th year in the system. Second as a full time starter. He will have around 2 years of starts under his belt. It's around that time QBs make a big leap forward. He's got Russell Wilson talent. It'll be time to deliver on it.

Tee Martin threw for only like 2,300 and he ran alot less than Dobbs, He also had better WR's and got drafted 5th round.

Yea, I agree with some of that. He definitely progressed from 2014 to 2015, so thats good. Our O-line will be improved next season. If our WR can do better he could have a 2,500+ passing yards 20+ TD's around 5 INT's, and 600+ rushing yards 8+ TD's. Thats just 12 games. Which would be a greats season since we also have Kamra and Hurd. He almost did that this season. He dominated UGA through the air, UGA has the best secondary in the SEC. But all the dobbs haters ignore that. Hes obviously capable of having a that type of season. :good!:

As I've said before...Dobbs wants to be an aerospace engineer so...

1. Get drafted
2. Hold a clipboard for a season or two
3. Save every penny you can while holding on to that clipboard
4. Use saved money to start your own company
5. Profit

Uh, I think we agree that Dobbs needs to work on his consistency.

From looking at our post our only disagreement if if Dobbs gets drafted. You say he could this year. I say he can next year if he works on his passing game, if his consistency does not improve I do not think he will.

The reason I think he would rn, is because he's to athletic/good of a player not to draft. Cam newton was inconsistent, especially early in his career. Look at Julian Edelman, he was a QB in college. Even if an NFL doesnt want Dobbs to be a QB he would still get drafted.

You do know that if he is as good as you keep babbling about, that bad oline and bad WR will have absolutely nothing to do with how he projects in the draft right? Do you even know how any of this works other than he's black, so he's better than whitey is giving him credit for.

Dobbs has more four and five star receivers than any QB I can remember. Are they all busts?

Considering pig Howard, a converted HS QB was miles better than all of them, and Jennings, another converted QB started in his first season. After practicing WR only in the fall....

My answer would be yes

Andre Ware was high, or took too many hits to the head, if he ever suggested that Dobbs compared to Cam Newton, or was more accurate than him at any stage of their respective careers.

If you read my post, I stated that Dobbs can improve and be drafted, but it's going to take a massive overhaul of his mechanics. I don't see it happening, but hey, I'd love it if it did.
