I'm not, really. They already named 4 seniors as season-long team captains (remember, the "special announcement" at the spring game everyone got so upset about because it wasn't "Peyton Manning will coach here"?). It seemed most likely that was the pool they'd be choosing media day representatives from.

Hurd and Kamara will both be there next year if they return for their senior seasons.

That's the obvious reasons. But I'd say the cherry on top is Jalen seems most likely to be baited into giving bulletin board material where Dobbs is like a programmed answer from coaches. Lol

IMO...This is CKS sending a message to the SEC favorite and to the entire Nation. UGA has turned a corner, they rant on GA radio for hours a day about how he is changing the culture. This is simply a shot at bUTch and anyone else with their ears up. That said....who CARES ???? We gon Whoop dey ASS !

No big mouth Jalen Tabor for Florida? Says a lot when you have a player of that caliber and your coaches don't think enough of them to have them represent the school at media days.

Tabor said he was going to have his own media day on twitter this upcoming Monday and answer all questions, so that could be interesting.

There have been plenty of SEC players at these events that don't employ the English language at it's best. This particular one should be an early round pick at the next level. Let him grunt and play off that IMO.

Don't think Hurd is a big fan of the media. Maybe he didn't want to go?
