Joshua Dobbs: Kentucky the start of playoff for Tennessee Vols

Good article, good read, good way to pass the time when all I want is for it to be game time tomorrow. :)

Also good to reaffirm what we all suspected, our players and coach won't overlook Kentucky.

Dobbs said he “of course” feels confident going into a game against he team he beat as a starter last season.

“But, again, every game’s different,” the quarterback added. “They’ve made some changes, we’ve made some changes, so it’s a different year, different game and different pressures on the line with bowl-game berths. But my goal is just to stay focused on this one game ahead of me.”

Kentucky’s defense isn’t ranked anywhere near the nation’s leader, but Dobbs said the Wildcats have had their moments against team with offenses similar to Tennessee’s — including top-ranked and undefeated Mississippi State, which got all it wanted from the Cats for three-plus quarters in Lexington earlier this month.

“They’re very athletic guys, and they’re very disciplined guys, and they’ve done a good job playing similar offenses to us, like Mississippi State,” Dobbs said. “Our goal is just to execute. We know the task that’s ahead of us. We know they’re very stout guys. We’ve just got to do our job and focus on our goals.

every game from here on out will be exciting, but Ky is still Ky. I don't see anything other than a Vol win.

Dobbs seems to be level headed and not the type to let a good game get in his head. I think our team knows they need to focus one game at a time and not overlook any game.
