Dobbs, Is he our future?

No, not a Dobbs hater. I just trust that CBJ and staff know what they are doing. Its easy for you to base your opinion on the "eye test". If we are gonna trust the staff on every thing else, why not this? I don't know whats gonna happen, I don't see what they see because they are looking at a whole lot more than the obvious. Its just my opinion.

Correct..... KB's superficial surface impressions notwithstanding. You can't fix shallow.

You say Dobbs is the clear answer. To who? You, me? The only one that matters is CBJ and staff. Our opinions don't mean Jack.

So the coaches pulled Peterman quickly after he did jack squat. Dobbs was inserted as the starter. Seems like the coaches have spoken.

Also you say our opinions don't matter yet you like to bring up accuracy issues that "you" have seen. If our opinions don't matter then yours about his "accuracy" issues don't matter.

That's my boy btw, loves Orange, goes straight to it when presented with both a UF jersey and UT jersey.
He also carries around a plush alligator in his mouth we got at BassPro, like a puppy, my wife hates it! (She is A UF fan)

Probably a big factor with accuracy is that Dobbs hasn't worked with the ones a whole lot and has yet to build up chemistry with them.

I don't get it...Why in the hell is UT so reluctant to use a dual threat QB? If I were the coaches, I would not even recruit a pro-style QB. It is not your job to get people in the pros. It is your job to win. It just is common sense that it is harder to stop a QB that does both rather than being 1 dimensional. GEEZ does one of the bricks have to hit you in the head?

Plenty of good stationary QB's that would disagree with you. Just saying the extreme one way or another is not correct.

I gotta admit, I was a doubter on Dobbs ability but he played well considering the pressure Saturday.

Last year Dobbs' first action was in the Bama game. He came in with no experience threw some precision strikes, had somw good runs and moved the ball well. By the Vandy game other teams had him figured and the staff wouldnt let him throw the ball.

Dobbs is the most athletic quarterback that gives UT a chance to be competitive for the rest of this season.

If the staff had confidence in Peterman before Bama and going forward he would have stayed on the field more than 2 series and had he performed to an adequate level Dobbs RS would still be intact and Dobbs would only see the field if Peterman went down and Worley was not available (similar to last year).

The telling sign was that it was reported that Dobbs was going in the third series before the game ever started.

Basically if you trust the staff it appears that they believe that Dobbs is the best option to win in Nov.

Little Levity. Reviewing the game on DVR tonight and caught this shot at 27-0. As unhappy as these young ladies look, I'm betting their boyfriends were more so later in the evening. Now, back to fussing and fighting over coaches and quarterbacks and crap. Carry on and GBO.

@FootballTimeMag: Dobbs’ 81.7 QBR vs. Bama would rank 10th nationally for the season – ahead of Jameis Winston (12th with an 81.4), Golson, Knight & others.

....because you can never have enough threads on Dobbs, to repeat ourselves a million times or so. Just saying.

He might be. I do think he has great potential. I hope he continues to play well. With this OL a mobile QB is exactly what the offense needs. Go Dobbs!
