I'm not 100% sold on Butch as of right now and even I can say this is ridiculous. Gotta lay off with pathetic comments like these.

For real, north Texas is one of the worst teams in the country! If we somehow managed to even come close to them it would be very disappointing

Players will downplay injuries so they can stay on the field/not get barraged with media questions about said injury. That's not really surprising he said that.

Did Hyams mention what the specific injury was and how severe?

If ever there were a game to start your backup, this weekend is it.

One of the worst opponents in all of FBS, starter dinged up, game at home, no reason other than stat padding for the starter to go onto the field...

...yep, let's see young Quentin lead a whole game this Saturday. Will help greatly with his development, which is hugely valuable for Teams 120 and beyond, at no cost to Team 119.

Go Vols!

Per Hyams Dobbs injured foot in Bama game and reinjured against SC. Could have been part of reason for poor 2nd half.

Is he supposed to catch the ball as well? Can't help Malone dropped a sure TD pass.

Count me in the group for resting key players. Let everyone who is banged up get some rest. Play the starters for a quarter and let the backups play the rest of the game and get key reps

The better question is why didn't Dormady play more against UK since Dobbs had been injured the game prior?

Probably because the injury is very minor. If we find out otherwise, then you've made a great point. As of right now, all signs point to this being a very minor injury

Absolutely 100% agree with everyone saying start Dormandy this week. Not that Dobbs is an issue, we just need for the kid to get some quality game reps and be ready should Dobbs go down!

Our second string vs north Texas would be a better game IMO. Because it's gonna be a slaughter.

If you know your QB has a bad wheel, why on the most important 3rd down of the game, when you must have a first down to put the game on ice, do you call a QB run?

Im going out on the limb and saying that Butch probably had better intel on that than Hyams at that point.

What ab Sheriron Jones getting some pt? I had assumed he redshirted, but I believe I saw him dressed out for the USCe game sitting beside Dobbs. I'm really excited ab this kid, and he might be a fun one to watch in this offense.

They're gonna redshirt him unless he's absolutely needed due to injury. Like Dobbs would've redshirted last year had Worley not been injured.....dressed out for all the games, just wasn't gonna play unless there was an emergency....and Nathan Peterman being our starting QB the last 5 games of the season was definitely an emergency. Lol.

I would rather see Jennings get some qb time and make some plays

From the sounds of it, this will be more about Dobbs and not Dormady's development.
