I've supported and defended Dooley for the past 2 years. but if you kick Da'Rick off the team for some minor "internal issues" or some other bs, I'll never forgive your ass.

and you always pull this crap a WEEK before the friggin kickoff, when excitement among fans is at its PEAK. I was excited about seeing the BEST EVER Tennessee WR corps/passing attack but instead you demoralized the fans. same thing happened with Janzen last year. he worked hard all summer and you kick him off right before the first game. it's just fuggin weed, man.

when you start losing some games this season I won't defend you anymore. I'll have no mercy on you and I'll be on the Fire Dooley bandwagon. it's like one of your biggest fan turning his back on you.

we snagged the best 5* player out of Georgia and I'd like to see Da'Rick get drafted next spring, just to show those future 5* Georgia recruits a success story of playing football at Tennessee. please do this young man a favor and reach out to him right now and handle this situation internally.

What in the world are you talking about? Rumors? The only people who make decisions based on rumors are people who post on this board and most of those rumors are generated by posters on this board. I think it is wise for posters here to rely on the coaching staff, the Athletic Department, and the Administration to make decisions based on known facts and for internet posters to cool their heels about major decisions of the University and its Athletic Department.

There was nothing DD could have done to save Rogers. Dooley did not advise Rogers to smoke weed, cheat on exams, cuss out coaches or walk around like some prima donna banging fat chicks thinking he was above the rules.

Rogers brought this on by his own doing, if you cannot accept that and think DD did not do everything in his power to keep Rogers with his job on the line, you have much to learn about life.

It's not CDDs job to protect his best players or help a player who does stuff wrong. I'm sure you wouldn't say anything if it was a UT walk-on. Da'Rick lives by the same rules.

Since you seem to think you have all the right answers, please enlighten us all with what really happened and why DD did not do his job and save Rogers?

Don't listen to folks like LWS who has reported the incident and getting kicked out had nothing to do with the Athletic Dept, Coaches or the AD but it was the university who did it..

So bring it and enlighten all of us what the issue was and how DD did not do his part to keep Rogers, Inquiring minds want to know.

Most think Dooley has had a longer leash with Rogers than he should have had and he should have been gone long ago for his attitude problems.

I've been in South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana for the last 9 days (still here). limited with access so don't have specifics. could be either or both of the exam / weed issues.

Bottom line, he had way too much rope and qay too many chances. can't really blame Dooley. when your team is so under talented, you give your more talented players the extra rope but DR never tried to help CDD. He was only interested in himself.

the players over whelmingly are happy about this. the number of friends DR had on this team can be counted on one hand. should be a real positive for the program. doesn't mean we win 10 games, but it certainly brings team much closer.

all the PR on how well DR has been doing was pure horse hockey. anyone that believed all that was duped big time.
