Absolutely want him back. Our backfield without him has very good POTENTIAL, but no RB we have has competed as the main guy. BB did show he can compete well at this level. If he does come back, it proves he really wants to be here. The business with his father and brother has put a strain on this TEENAGER. Tough stuff to deal with, so coming back says a lot. If the team wants hime back, I'm all for it. He's the only proven RB we have. If he does come back, he starts at the bottom of the list, and practices/plays his way up the list.

You're apparently not the kid who got his ball signed by Roger Maris...

Roger Maris had a nice signature, your thinking of Shoeless Joe Jackson...He couldn't read or write and signed everything with an X :good!:

A Freshman running back with as many carries as Brown to not have 1 fumble is extremely impressive! Brown will be the real deal if he comes back and commits to the program!

Here is Brown trying to somehow find a hole as his awesome Olineman (Sullins Twin) is lying on his back in the middle of the field.

Give him a great Oline next year and he will be special!

you base that off his freshmen year or his last high school year ?
Did BB get the carries over Poole last year because he was better or because of X trying to kiss BB azz ?

likely because he was better. sorry, but there is absolutley nothing to suggest that Poole was better than Brown. the bulk of his yards came against Western Kentucky in the second half. and the three carries he had against VT were bogus, IMO. you cant tell me that Poole could do what Hardesty couldnt against that defense. if you suggest that Poole is better than MH, then you are seriously bats**t insane. obviously the defense let off a few plays when the top back wasnt in there.

I have a feeling you'll be pleasantly surprised with Poole.

I'm in no way saying I don't want BB on the team. I'd love it if he comes back.

However, Poole is going to be pretty damn good this coming year if he doesn't get injured.

Not so. Football is a team sport so each individual only matters in how they contribute to the team. Not every 5 star player makes it at D1 level, so you can't base your hopes on one player. Plus, it is about the players accepting their roles in the game and performing on the field. Having Brown won't make a difference if the OL can't open holes. What happens if Simms or Bray turn out to be effective passers? With our receiver corps we stand to have a better passing game then a running game anyway. I graduated in 85 and we beat Miami in the Sugar Bowl the next season. We lost our starting QB and Andy Kelly stepped in and played very well. But it was the team that won that game. The OL gave Andy so much time in the pocket he could have had a bar-b-q! When the team plays well together they can beat anyone.

Caring means that one has strong feelings one way or the other. I'm comfortable with Brown staying or going so long as the team works together.

Yes, assuming the team is receptive to him coming back. I can't think of any other reason why you would not want that level of talent on your team?

It's hard to blame a kid that was recruited by Kiffin, and probably promised anything he ever dreamed of, for having second thoughts once Lame showed his true colors and left town. Give the kid some time to deal with his personal issues. If it's meant to be it will be. If not, we're still the real UT and nothing will ever change that.

Go Vols!

Anyone would have to be ignorant to vote "No." With that said, it would not break my heart to see him leave.

Of course I want him back! The kid had a great freshman year considering the playing time he got behind MH. He was the #1 recruit 2 years ago and you can never have too many RB's on your team. No one knows what's goin on with the kid behind closed doors so let's give him a break.

didnt you know? hes a melodramatic punk that has an over inflated ego in which he seeks nothing more than to divide the locker room and bring all the attention to himself, T.O. style.

oh, and hes really not all that good either.

How can teams welcome Brett Favre back? Easy answer. His inclusion on the team makes the team better, and when your goal is to win, you have to field the best possible team.

Brett Farve????? What does Brett Farve and Bryce Brown have in common. Nothing Brett is a future HOF'er. Bryce has played one year of college football. Brett proved himself first.
