Do you think the Berry twins will see time next season?

Specifically Elliott, I for one believe he is the most underrated recruit of the class. I'm no scout but just watch his film and you have to be excited. Good ball skills and tackles with attitude. Most of us think he will be a defensive player, the only question is where does he play? OLB? SS? I could easily see him and Bates battling for a shot into the two deep rotation at OLB this season.

For those who haven't seen Elliott's film here it is.

Definitely.

Our special teams will be much improved and has a chance to be (wait for it) "special"

Coverage units will be full of all the young fast freshmen guys that like to hit

I remember 95 when Goodrich and Westmoreland always seemed to make the play on kick/punt coverage

We need to put him in our biggest area of need point blank. If he's a versatile as advertised I hope to see him play safety or corner, but definitely a gunner on special teams because he loves to hit people.

Yes on both. They weren't ranked higher bc they really didn't play the 'recruiting' game. They knew where they wanted to go.

If you don't go to specific camps (rivals, scout, 247) they don't rate you as high. Both will be very good players just like dad and big bro.

No way the Berry twins see the field next year. We are way too deep. Especially in the secondary. We have serious talent on D and we have proven that in the last 2 years.

Oh, everyone turn your sarcasm meters on.

Yes the Berry twins get SIGNIFICANT playing time next year, supposing they don't start.

Yes. Jones knows we can't compete without speed, so slim chance the Berrys redshirt. I think we'll see Evan before we see Elliot simply because Evan might be the fastest player on the team when he arrives.

I think they will, IMO. I think they will see mop up duty and depending on how well they're adjusting and playing to the SEC style, they begin to see more PT. I think they will be significant factors on ST's and be much like JRM on ST's. These boys can play.. I mean they're Berry's! I see, SS & OLB, for them in the future. Very excited about them...

First of all, if they are half as good as their brother then yeah, they both will see time. But i honestly think Elliot will see more than Evan, we need more speed at the linebacker spot, and he seems fairly quick, both physically and also in the decisions he makes during the plays. I agree about the comment about him and Bates. They may rotate at the 3rd LB spot regardless if Johnson stays or not.

Oh you made lots of blank space to fool me into thinking you were saying dumb stuff! That's a good one. I'll have to remember it.

Evan could run the 40 in a burlap sack and would still be the fastest the day he arrives.

I believe that was a later year. I remember him being a sophomore on the NC team. You're right though. It seemed like Westmoreland made every single tackle on ST his freshman year.

Definate on special teams and possibly more depending how they develope and how many injuries we have on the team at certain positions.

I believe it depends on how things stack up during the winter and the spring. There were a lot of our players who red-shirted this off season. Depends on who emerges this spring and how it carries over to the summer.

Loved in his video how he'd make a great play then just hop up and walk off - no chest thumping or gyrating.

A lot of the analysts project Elliott as a backer. IMO, I think Evan sees the field first as a CB. Evan has some serious speed and covers well.
