Do you think Oklahoma goes after coach Huepel after this season?

Can we please stop with these threads.

Will Georgia come after Dooley.

Will Michigan come after Lyle.

Will Alabama come after Pruitt.

It’s the kiss of death when these threads are started.
To be fair none of those coaches had even close to the amount of success here that CJH has.

He’s not a troll. He’s posts on the baseball board frequently and is definitely a Vol fan. He’s actually a good dude with a tendency towards self deprecation.

He simply chooses quantum negativity, likely as a result of the fact that he’s a 4’10” obese effeminate man with a terribly ugly face, who got kicked out of his mother’s basement after she couldn’t stand the smell any longer. But it does the best it can with what it has.

You just have to accept her for who she is.

I got your back, @CAVPUT!
Lulz.

Ther's no doubt they will. He won them a Natty and they love him. That being said I don't think there's any way Danny White will allow that to happen.

It would really suck to loose him but if it happens then we are in great position to land a big fish. We are night and day better than we were in 2021. The rebuild is over and in the age of NIL someone could come in a win immediately. The days of dysfunction and incompetency are over

The only way this concerns me is if Stoops comes to Heupel hat in hand and they hash it out .

They'd be stupid not to, but I'm thinking that that bridge has already been burned.

I think power 4 coaches are going to stay put if they are winning in this new college football era. It will be much harder to turn a team around than it used to be. Much more money and a lot more work. The risk of going from a winning program to a losing program and then failing is very high. Players are all over the place but head coaches will be digging in.

I know its not you, but I knew/hated/respected a Tennessee State Trooper back in the 80's. He harassed me through HS. I have no idea why. Lol.

Anyway, you sparked a memory. His name was J.D. Beard.

Heupel is not going anywhere ! Especially Oklahoma ! Stoops hanging around , that’s not gonna happen. I really think he loves it here at Tennessee ! Keep building and recruiting . One of the best places , if not the best place to play a college football game , in Neyland Stadium !! GBO ! 🍊🍊🍊🧡🤍🧡🤍

I disagree - I think the emergence of the mid state makes Tennessee a much easier job. There is high level high school recruits all over the state now. Plus NIL has really leveled the playing field.
Right, but before NIL, Tennessee struggled to recruit at the end of the Fulmer era.

As successful as he has been, unless he has two losing seasons in the next 12 years with those two losing seasons in the last four years or, has a heart attack and a younger assistant coach does well against formidable competition in the first four games of said season, he (aint) going nowhere.

Y’all just have to know how Tennessee is!

Heupel has built a top15 team on the talent composite rankings. We are on the way to a top 10 or even better talented team too. Multiple 10 win seasons and a playoff berth as well.

Why would he leave what he basically built from scratch to go rebuild another program? Take away the nostalgia (that was burned at the end) and you have a program that is on life support if the coach doesn’t turn it around this year.
