Do you think Kiffin will...

David Reaves will have the official title of QB Coach. Not sure Kiffin's role since his specialty has been WR's historically.

It's also my understanding that Kiffin was OC in title only at USC. He didn't really run the offense, or even call plays. Carroll did and still does control that aspect of the team.

I agree with you on this, but we're in the minority on this board. He also only held the title for 1 year from my understanding. With that said, it's time for him to have full control though, so I'm behind him now.

Carroll's a defensive coach. Obviously because he was the HC the plays were approved by him but Kiffin and Sark shared playcalling duties. At least that's what I understood...

carrol is the dc. Kiffen called the plays. Sarcesian (sp) was the co offensive coordinator and was responsible for most of the game plan, but kiffen called most of the plays. Kiffen was a pretty balsy playcaller. like in that rose bowl against michigan when he decided he wasn't going to call a run the entire second half. many SC fans were down on kiffen after chow left and were pretty happy to see him go. after the playcalling hte past 2 years me thinks they are rethinking that.
