I voted yes, i have supported him until the UK game and cannot bring myself to do so any longer.
Fire him now, why delay the inevitable.
I feel the same way...i supported him until the ky game but cannot any longer, don't look like it's gonna get any better with DD as the head man!

I never even considered the thought of firing him this year.

That is, until after the Kentucky game.

I voted not, but I have to admit that sometime Saturday afternoon as I was stuck in traffic on I-40 east of Knoxville AND enduring the game on radio, it crossed my mind.

I voted "no" but I have a contingency:

* If Wilcox leaves then we might as well scrap our entire coaching staff. Offensive staff should be rebuilt. There is nothing I've seen since Hunter went down that instills confidence in any of them save for the luke-warm progression of the WRs. This includes Russell. If Wilcox/Sirmon leave (i.e. the only reason we lost by somewhat small margins in our other SECE games) then Dooley has to rebuild both the Offensive and Defensive staff? Might as well clean house and start anew.

Dooley really needs to win 9 or 10 games next year to really be safe. The Kentucky loss was inexcusable. He can hide behind pathetic whining and excuse-mongering with LSU, Bama and Arky but we lost every SEC game we played outside of Vandy. I'm still honestly baffled by how we pulled that one off.

He can't turn in less than .500 in SEC play. I don't care about overall record because our OOC schedule is weak.

If there isn't improvement next year (bowl win, compete for the division, etc), then he should be fired. I didn't really expect him to pull a Saban or Chizik and win a title after 2 years, but if the team doesn't look any better next year, he's not doing his job and should be relieved of it.
James stallion Lafayette GA = CaM newton no one has even heard of this kid butt goshh he hass so much Talent it doesn't even Matter 2013 he should lead this team in Receiving dooley noes who he needs if he puts stallion on there I C vols going Undefeated and Nat Champs in 2013 and move that kid to KR any kid that runs 2 or 3 kicks back on Calhoun Ga and get them called back is worth recruting

Unless you think Dooley is going to win 9 games next year, you should vote yes.

This. The team has enough talent to win 10+. Nine is acceptable, but anything less just sucks.

One guy opined that he didn't know whether Dooley would win 8 or lose 8 next year. My response, either is a fireable offense.

No offense. But you've been plugging James Stallion and Von Bell quite a bit. I'm not trying to be rude, but there is not a single Division 1 football coach looking on this forum to find some great prospects. We have absolutely no recruiting pull with anyone. Instead of spamming, fill out some prospect forms on Athletic Websites, e-mail coaches, and send out tape, etc.

I have tried to be supportive of Dooley. He has brought some moral integrity to the program which was sorely needed, making what I have to say next a little difficult. It's hard for me to continue to support Dooley when I know Bobby Petrino is looking for a job. He wins every where he goes and for the morality part everyone deserves a second go. I'm sure he has learned from his mistake, betcha Arkansas wished they had given him a second chance.

No, I don't think he should be fired after this season. I think he should be fired as soon as we have a better replacement.

Allot depends of how we finish this year. If we finish at 6-6 allot of recruits won't come. If we fire Dooley after the season it depends on who replaces Dooley. Another 5-7 season it simply won't matter either way.
