Do you root for other SEC teams?

  • No. I only root for the Vols.

  • Yes. I typically root for the SEC team in non-conference games.

I’ve been to Memphis many times. Never had a bad experience. Also my grandma’s side of the family is from Memphis.

I only root for another SEC Team, other than Tennessee, when they are playing someone I hate worse than them, i.e. Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Pen State and a few others.

I used to cheer for any SEC team that was playing in a non-conference game. Then after some thought, I asked myself why? Now I only pull for the VOLS. Everyone else can pound sand for all I care. GO VOLS!!!!!!!!

I voted yes but there are exceptions. Florida, Bama and Georgia can lose every game, everyone else i tend to root Sec. All Sec teams losing their bowl games is a fast path to being viewed as pac 12ish. You can bet as soon as it happens the Vols will be fighting for a playoff spot the next year and the excuse to leave them out will be the SEC isn't good anymore.

Yes. Wins by SEC teams in out of conference games means better bowls for the conference as a whole, which means more money for the conference as a whole, too. And, as NIL is quickly proving, being a "have" is much better than being a "have not." It takes money to win big and win consistently.

we compete against every other SEC for wins and recruits.....Every other SEC coaching staffs would sell their souls to beat us and badmouth us at every turn to get a recruit over us...

Please explain to me why I should pull for them to win?

I use to root for the SEC but the conference is corrupt. You don’t have to look any further than the Ole Miss game where we got screwed. The past ten years this conference picks who they want and will do what ever it takes to make sure Bama is in the playoffs. I’m not taking anything away from the Tide but just look at the calls. This conference needs to be investigated and the NCAA disbanded. Just my view.

Yes. If Vols are playing, all Vol. I’ll root for teams that help Vols in polls, etc. I’ll root for SEC over non SEC teams.

Congratulation to USCe. Broke sec loss record this year. Hope Vols continue the win streak. Actually hope the rest of the SEC teams can claw back to .500 at least. Except the dawgs.

The Beamer love fest right now is my exhibit A for why I don't root for other SEC teams. There is nothing gained for the Vols from our foes getting positive publicity.

Depends on the SEC team. For example, I’ll definitely be pulling for Arkansas over Penn State.

This. It is annoying how far Beamers balls are already down the necks of the clowns in the media. The same ones who ranked UNC #10 to start the season.

I don’t like it when any SEC team loses to a B10 team. I’m in B10 country and I can’t stand the way they gloat about it.
But, I am making an exception tomorrow. I hope Michigan kicks the crap out of UGA

Exactly! We beat the urine out of SC and all you heard about the last part of the season was Beamer ball. It might have helped them land Rattler and gives them great momentum for next season. Why would I root for that!

Most of the time no but I like Pittman so I hope the hogs win this years bowl I hate NC to SC isnt so bad oh wait a min the Beamer ball killed that so just Pittman lol

Im a rare fan I pull for sec teams other than Alabama I hate saban too much to pull for them. If they are playing notre dame I will at least route for them then. Notre dame is like rooting for the devil.
