My wife is from Michigan(14years).I have her converted,but the inlaws are anti-UT/ Pro Michigan for the most part.I feel your pain.I am so glad we smacked Michigan several years back, you just don't know.:rock:

Personally, I wont be cheering for Florida but I do want them to win. I get alot of heat up here in Big Ten country that the SEC is over-rated so hopefully the Gators will represent the SEC well.

I am for the SEC.I just hope Tebow plays and wins instead of Leak, I don't care for him AT ALL!

My personal approach is:

I cannot root for Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, or Alabama.

I don't feel bad rooting for LSU, Arkansas, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Mississippi, or Mississippi State.

Most of us continue to answer this question over and over, I said in some other thread may the best team win cause I dont care for either team. I'm in Columbus for New Years and I was watching the Georgia/VTech game with my sisters neighbor last night and he's an Ohio State fan. We were talking and I asked him would he root for Michigan and he said he always roots for the big 10 conf, and proceeded to tell me the SEC is overated I was glad that Georgia came back and won. He thinks Florida doesn't have a prayer against Ohio State cause they have too many offensive weapons, and he hopes it's a blowout in the first quarter cause he's the only fool in Columbus that didn't take the 9th off work and cant stay up to watch the whole game. I still cant picutre Meyer and Co holding up that trophey smiling for the media or Ohio State bragging they won it twice in four years what gives!.

I just watched the penn state program about the outback game. ALL of them take this as a big 10 vs SEC and think the 10 is much better than the SEC and the players all are for the big 10 over anyone. ESPN CBS and the other outlets are pushing conference strength so like it or not everyone else wants the SEC to gp down.

only losers play for the glory of their conference. Winners play for their own glory. Tennessee is a winner.

Winners play for the glory of beating winners. Rooting for someone you play to be a loser.............where is the glory in that? Most anyone can boast of beating a losing team. Beat the winning teams, then you have something to brag about.:rock:

A team's ranking are impacted by the strength of the conference they are in. If the SEC goes 0-6 in Bowl games it reflects poorly on the conference and the teams in it. With the BCS rankings mean everything.

I agree! But, we are 3-1 so far and have 9 bowl games. I think for the % we are at a bit of a disadvantage for the Bowl Campionship Cup. Any conference has to have at least three in, and we have 9. Odds are in the favor of the lesser conferences to have the highest percentage. A 3 and out today puts us in a very good position, and it is likely to happen. Go SEC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:clapping:
