IMO Saban has a little more to prove (personally) in the NFL than Spurrier. Leaving after a season like this one will likely mean he will never be invited by to the league.

You all ways have to pull for the SEC in the bowls. No matter How bad you hate the conference rivals. The only time I don't pull for the SEC is when it help or hurts TN. I hate the Gators as much as anyone else here. Hell I about get in fight with fans every time we play them. You have to remember the money gets divide in the conference.

Even though I have a strong dislike for the Gators, I hope they beat Ohio State. My only reason is that I am tired of hearing how tough the Big Ten is. They have a pretty good conference but no Ch gam

This year -- for the first time ever -- I am hoping that all SEC teams win. I, too, am very tired of hearing about the Big Ten - and the SEC not getting the credit it is due. I won't invest in any articles of clothing or trouble myself to learn their fight song - just hope all SEC teams can win --

I know the money is guaranteed now but you have to win to get there. If the teams in our conference where no good we would be in the same shape as Boise st. The SEC needs to win every non conference game played. This is how you earn respect.

IMO the fact that the results of the other SEC schools bowl games reflect on the strength of schedule of UT is all the reason anyone with a brain should need to pull for all of them. Of course sometimes the love of an ooc school might overcome logic.

If we are so concerned about the conference we should all root for everyone to win. I personally don't like the Gators and don't want to hear how superior their programs are for the next 20 years. I believe if the SEC wins more of their games than the Big 10 then that will do it. Lets face it, Ohio St. is very good and the Fla Gators are not worthy to carry their jocks. I would hate to think a lousy team like that would ruin a special season for a special team. Send Urban Renewal back to Gayturdville until next year.

If you're a closet Gator worshiper then just step forward and say so. My vision of the sign above the gates to hades says 'Gators to the right. Yellow Hammers to the left.' How many Bama and Gator fans cried for UT when they lost to ND two years in a row?

Actually, you should have lost by more than you did. The score was much closer than the game was.

I'm not sure that there is any response to that kind of statement. It does not appear to me to make an argument or even a rational observation.

I guess that my response would be "Munchkin belt simulation battery spirit cheese." So there.

I can imagine it being different for those who live by fans of the opposing team, but let's scratch that, and pull for florida for the sake of furniture on buckeye campus.

im talking TV, radio, etc etc. "Florida national champions" this, they are the best team that , UT doesnt have a chance blah blah

Who cares what the media says. Everyone knows the majority of these talking heads just spout whatever to get ratings. There's no basis for alot of what they spew. The games are played on the field by the players, not the biased media.

I can't stand them.. even makes me mad to see a UF plate on a car. TEBO and Meyer make me sick to my stomach. They're arrogant and need to be brought back down to earth. They are not the #1 team in the country.

I know as a PSU fan that I don't care what the rest of the Big 10 does, and I actually hope most of them fail. I'll be donning a Florida Gator T-shirt for the game and cheering hard for an upset. As long as my team gets the job done I wish the worst on the rest of the Big 10.
