That's a fair question, and I think the answer is yes. Butch is 84-54 lifetime as a head coach, which is very good. He does not seem to be the next Nick Saban, which is what UT needs.

How many coaches are like that? A lot of them. Probably 100 of them.

I swear I've heard this in reference to almost everyone who have ever been mentioned here and has something even vaguely resembling a blemish on his resume. Apparently 90% of coaches in college football are Butch Jones.
