Do you honestly think we're better than MSU?

If we have to grind it out we are in trouble. That is in Croom's wheelhouse.

Yes...by a field goal. I am excited to see Stephens in his third contest (yes I excite easily but it is better for me to look for positives rather than negatives).

yes. we are better than mississippi state across the board except in two areas. o line and d line maybe. i like the progression of our d line and expect it to continue so i think thats a draw. msu has always had big physical d lineman. if we can establish the run, we win convincingly 27-10. if no run, it can get ugly 13-10 either way

That is rather optimistic. Unless our play on offense improves considerably, we will not score over 20 pts on any team in the SEC.

I dont know considering the highest amount we have scored is 35 against UAB. I would say MSU is considerably better than that. I think this could very well turn out to be another MSU/Auburn type game.

i think we are by far more athletic than MSU but with all the underdeveloped talent who knows who will win this weekend

gerald jones finally takes one to the house this weekend.hes too good of a player and his breakout game is coming. stephens looks good throwing the deep ball and that is one of the staples of clawsons offense. i expect to see improvement in the run. 2 yards total is a step in the right direction. maybe this will be the first time this year we try to run on 3rd and less than 4.

Yes---croom's not that good of a coach, and they have less talent than UT.

Have to disagree there. Croom is as tough on his players as they come. His teams are more disciplined and fundamentally sound than 90% of the programs across America. He is really turning that program around, and doing more with less. In all honesty Mississippi State probably has the worst recruiting classes year to year in the SEC, and yes that includes UK and Vandy. If you gave MSU a QB and even one playmaker on offense they could compete for the SEC west title in my opinion. They are currently improving as is, with their new QB Lee who is a good decision maker and has some sneaky ability. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if we lost on Saturday, something like 17-13.

Yes -- we are better by so many factors, but that doesn't always secure victory

I hate to ask this...but I can't help myself...just what factors are we so much better.....special teams, running game, 3rd and long defense??? Honestly, it'll help me sleep better at night knowing we are so much better...
