I don't know why some of you act like there has never been a UMass before. Remember Wyoming and Memphis where we actually LOST.

It was time for Fulmer to go. Kiffin was a good hire, but we all know how that ended. Then we botched the next two hires. We can’t get the next one wrong.

Not trying to debate keeping Butch but it is nice to see confirmation that we do agree a win is what we want.

Having joined this site in the Dooley years I spend half my time wondering what posters do like about UT football.

Never will I "hope" for a loss, regardless of the circumstances. Butch has tried hard and he cares, but he has reached the maximum of his potential. I feel sorry for the man and what he and his family are now enduring, but that's what you sign up for in this league and what comes with a $4M salary.

It's that those "UMass" games happen with regularity and winning seems to be a challenge when it shouldn't be. I think. The Wyoming and Memphis type games weren't happening every year multiple times back then.

You love this team. Whatever Butch has taken from you don't let him take that on Saturday.

Are you serious ? I have been a member on here for a long time . and I haven't really posted a lot . and this the first time I have ever responded bye just reading the original OP . BUT YOU NEVER WANT THEM TO LOOSE !!THAT IS TERMS FOR YOU TO GO AHEAD AND TURN IN YOUR VOL CARD !!

Forget the coaches.. Think about the team. Think about the commits. You tell them - those people hope you lose.

I hope we have CBJ for the next 10 years all based on him and the VOLS winning! If it doesn't happen, then it'll go the route of Dooley - but if you are a Vol fan and root for them to lose - you are losing and need to be replaced as well.

I'll root for us to win. I can't turn on a game and hope for anything else. But there is a silver lining when it's obvious we need have to make a coaching change
