Cautiously optimistic for NSD and our chances with:

Bellamy
Lawson
Green
Bell
North

?

I certainly do. Feel like this is our year to officially start the climb back to the top in recruiting and in season play! I'm beginning to feel very good about these 5, which would bring an incredibly solid class to UT. I think we at least get 4 of them. Either way, major props to the staff in getting us this far in such a short time with these guys! I can't wait til next signing day!

I am optimistic. CBJ and staff are at least making the recruits think about being a VOL. We are going toe to toe with the likes of Bama, Fla, OSU, etc. on several of the recruits. This is a good sign. :)

I want very badly to be optimistic. After the past few years I can't help but feel like I will end up being let down. Hopefully CBJ can change that for me.

Our fan base is bruised and battered, it's good to see them on board with the "Rise To The Top" movement. But there will be those that like to pee on the parade.

Nice pic miggy. Hazard is a real class act, eh? Used to be a big fan until the Chelsea move. I'm all Liverpool FC

I have no more expectations. Tired of buying in and getting crushed.

So I don't expect we'll land any big fish on NSD. I'll certainly be happy if we do, I just don't expect to.

I am not very optimistic considering that CBJ is relatively late to the party on a number of these recruits however the new coach is usually behind the proverbial 8-ball (unless that new coach is an icon). I think that there will be a high number of Vol fans who will be pretty disappointed come signing day (would not really blame CBJ for that since he is a new coach).

I feel cautiously optimistic with Bellamy and Lawson.

With North I have started to think more UNC, Bell would take a last second half court shot type like finish, and Green is a 100% mystery.

I really don't know how to feel. I want to believe we get them but I am also hesitant because of the last several years.

Realistically, we we will be lucky to get one of them.

Bellamy - 3
Lawson - 2
Green -5
Bell - 4
North - 1

This is how I would rank these guys n terms of likelihood that they sign with UT based on what I've seen and read. And this is just my opinion.

Considering our track record lately, I'm hoping for one of them but not really expecting any of them. CBJ is doing a fantastic job at least getting us in their thought process, but I, like others, have gotten our hopes up for NSD only to be let down.

Well to me vonn is the biggest get. We cant blitz if we have no coverage. He's gonna be a all American ad a future pro bowler wherever he goes. My guess is green-mich Lawson and Bellamy -vols north-unc bell- bama unless a huge impression is made this wknd, also can't forget about urban

I remember back in the 1970's. 1975 we went 7-5, 3-3 in the sec. (5th out of 10 teams.) In 1976, we went 6-5, 2-4 in sec. (8th out of 10 teams). The next year they hired Johnny Majors and he brought us back into prominince. We have weathered the storm before, and worked hard to get back to the top. We will do it again! I am not saying we will have a top 10 recruiting class this year, but the ground work for '14 is being laid. It takes TIME! let's be patient and see what CBJ and crew can do. Remember, WE ARE THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE!!!
