Do you ever remember seeing Pruitt in the weight room?

He was. All coaches are to a certain time. They all make videos like the one you saw for Heupel. Once the system is put in place, videos for recruits are done , they only monitor progress once in a while. They have tons on their plate.

I know Pruitt failed here but he did not fail for lack of trying. He is a smart football coach who just wasnt ready for a demanding rebuild like TN is.
Debatable.

I haven’t, but I feel like Heup is more camera friendly than CJP was. Not that he likes it and tries to use it as a tool, but he isn’t going to kick anyone with a camera out of a room.

Haha, not camera friendly? Ya think?

Damn the hate. Man is just trying to hey to know these players he inherited, has to get them trusting him, buying into his brand, and feeling like he’s got their back....and some of y’all just can’t be happy about any of it.

To answer the OP, man I'm not in any shape to be knocking whether or not somebody else is hitting the weights.

If anyone has the time to look at JH's films at Okla and Utah St.,you can see he is at home talking to his players and explaining what is going on on each play.Doesn't scream ala B..tch with his kariokee mike.If a player can relax,he'll play better and faster. These were good film clips

He does need a little more fire in him though.

I think he hired the UCF S&C coach this afternoon. The sooner he gets help, the sooner he can start delegating responsibility. I know he was busy, it was just sarcasm. I'm just ready to see the who he hires on his staff.

Where did you see this? Last I saw Artiss was still in that role

can we just stop talking about the ex every given chance? Let's move on. Let's not mention Dooley unless we're saying we wish him well. Let not mention Butch unless we're saying good luck at your new school.
Stop the complaining, stop the looking back to the past and failures, and let's just move on with our lives.
When you going to post these commandments on the wall?

I just caught a video on the Tennessee football facebook page. Heupel was right there in the middle of all the guys encouraging them as they were doing their cleans. I'm not saying that he's here and we're going undefeated, but damnit, what a fresh breath of air to see some leadership amongst these young men.

As per OP: Check out our new Head Coach taking notice in the weight room!!

I wish i could like this 100 times

The fascination with running down former coaches is juvenile and petty.

Was never on board with CJP but the constant attacks drive me insane.

Any new head coach needs to grasp every opportunity to get to know his players, evaluate and bond with them. If former head coaches didn't spend any time in the weight room then it's no wonder they failed. There's probably several leaders on this roster but they need to be developed. Hopefully CJH is the one that's been needed to help develop those leaders.
