Would Fulmer have won 9 games his next season or does common sense take over after seeing the previous 5 win season? Is gibbs crazy or a genius?

NO Fulmer would not have won 9 games the next year. It's called talent and he was NOT getting it. That's why we are in the shape we are in now. Some people just does not get it. Dooley has to build our talent lever back up and doing it in the SEC is hard to do.

No one knows what would happen. How can yall say no talent was there when he was bringing in Hardestys and Berrys? Its ok we're down now bc were rebuilding, but when Fulmer brought in new OC's he gets no time to install and is washed up, but Dooley is the best thing for UT who is still unproven. We could have gotten the Vandy guy from last yr and most of you would back him too. I support DD. But this Fulmer crap needs to stop. After all he has done and would still do for UT he should be greatly appreciated. Dont act proud when he goes into HOF. Most of you were like Dooley? Who the f is he? He was NOT even wanted here he was just the only person to take the job. This place was going Ape s#!^ when DD was hired. And when ppl finds out he is the son of Vince and had a law degree and had a decent yr with LA tech and coached under Saban he must be God

For those who say Fulmer would have won 9 games; I want to know which 2 games he would have won that Kiffin did not.

9-4 isn't good enough for me. And those were turning into Fulmer's best years. We need to get to a level where 9-4 is the once out of every four years rebuilding effort.

1) How many positions do you thing Hardesty and Berry could play? Besides, he didn't even remember that he had Hardesty on the bench.

2) It will be a nice family day for him but why would we be proud that he accomplished the same thing that Hayden Frye accomplished.

As a VOL and witnessing his tenure how could a fan not be?

because I sat there for 10yrs waiting on a title of any kind that didn't come. The win totals were padded so who really cares about that

The yr before was a disaster as was last yr for us

last year was going to be tough for any coach because of what CPF left behind. It was not a disaster

I doubt it.

If Fulmer (by some strange set of circumstances) won 9 games that season, the likelihood is that he would have followed that up with a 5-7 or 6-6 season last year.

Who knows. We would have had more stability. We lost a lot of kids when Kiff and DD came

Fulmer could have won 9 games. It though would have taken him two seasons to do it. Amazing how some folks think the next year was the "turn around" year.

Put me in coach, I can doooo it.

He had a chance to beat UCLA as a heavy favorite and blew it the year he was fired. He never showed that he could be competitive against Saban's Bama teams.

Saban came In 07 we lost by 3. I believe a fumble lost us that game how many yrs did he play Sabans bama?
