Do We Rush The Field?

nah man, cant be rushing the field, we been there before, gotta act like no matter the length of time that has passed since we beat someone significant, and no SC last year wasnt really significant.....in the big scheme

For example: You don't celebrate a successful ordinary work week by rushing your house after work on a Friday? You just have a good weekend, and prepare for next week!

Absolutely not. We act like we've been there before, which we have.

When we win Saturday, will the built up frustration being released all inside Neyland Stadium be too much too hold back? Will the triumphant return of Tennessee football be met with 102,455 family members all celebrating together on Shield-Watkins field when the clock strikes 0?

Please God No. Rushing the field really is for teams that are abysmally bad who knock off their bitter rivals once every 50 years. So...I guess Kentucky. Let's act like we've been there before and just drink the night away and stalk their team's message boards the day after.

Why is there always one.... Dear lord know our traditions and history we don't rush the field for winning a game we should win.

Why does somebody always have to embarrass us by starting this thread?

Not only embarrass us, but essentially jinx us (I'm a believer in jinx) considering our recent history with planning this sort of thing. There's a reason it hasn't happened yet, and it's not because we're above it even though we are. We haven't won a damn rush-the-field-worthy game in decades.
