Do We Rush The Field?

It ranks right up there with throwing trash at Oklahoma if we lose. Don't do it. Sore winners are as bad or worse than sore losers...

Nope, nope, and nope. Maybe if we beat UGA after being undefeated. Even then why talk about it before hand? Just let it happen organically.

Can we vote to delete this, so some other website doesn't pick this up and actually think we want to rush the field? Then this leads to a newspaper picking it up, and then we are made fun of again just like the year "we are going to beat Florida" happened.

It's inevitable. The dominoes have already started to fall.

Thanks OP.

When we win Saturday, will the built up frustration being released all inside Neyland Stadium be too much too hold back? Will the triumphant return of Tennessee football be met with 102,455 family members all celebrating together on Shield-Watkins field when the clock strikes 0?

No, act like you've been there before.

Let's save rushing the field for when we beat Georgia. It makes more sense and only if we have beaten Florida and Arkansas at that point.

2 years ago we beat a Top 10 South Carolina team that would route this Oklahoma team. We didn't rush the field then. Why in the world would we do it now?

You dweebs were in diapers the last time we rushed the field, or had a reason to.......

98 Florida game. 82 Bama game and I believe 85 Vandy when we won the SEC for the first time in a gazillion years.

The criteria is ending a longtime losing streak of 10 years or more against a huge rival. Both Florida and Bama apply. Georgia is on the brink. But they have to be viable strong opponents, not Florida last year or this one. Or, winning an SEC title after a generation which will also likely apply to you guys. You can act like you've been there before, but uh....you haven't.

This is going to be a great ball game to watch. Enjoy the game. It's going to be a great challenge. If we win, celebrate in the stands with Rocky Top and stay off the damn field. TIA.

Seriously, can we have this removed? This is frickin embarrassing, no way in hell will this happen after beating a non conference opponent whose not in the top 3.
