Do we really have anything new to show Florida next weekend?

I have heard that they were playing very "vanilla" the last 2 games.

I just have doubts that the "clawfense" has anything special left in it's arsenal and if it does can they execute it?

If there was ever a game to let it all hang out, it would be next weekend. I have my doubts we can win but anything can happen.

I doubt they would be playing vanilla against a bitter rival like Miami. Esp. when that game was close for most of the game.

I don't know about new stuff. I just hope we can execute the stuff we're already trying to do correctly.

I'd be surprised if they have a lot of new stuff to show off next week, but hopefully they will, because I have my doubts that what's been shown so far will be enough to play in Florida's league.

Hopefully the answer to your question is flawless execution.

And if they did show something they had planned on using against Tennessee, they have two weeks to create something else and work on it. You see, that is what good coaches do... they innovate and make adjustments.

I was going to say that we never show anything new against florida, but realized I was wrong after thinking about it a bit.

We saved the prowler for the gators in '01, and the Lucas Taylor reverse TD pass in '06. Both worked.

Well what about all the crap we heard about Clawson's offense all off-season. I haven't noticed anything special.

Hopefully maybe some new hands for our tight ends, and maybe new brains for the coaches.

I don't think you quite understood the assignment. I believe he meant does UT have anything new.

All I know is that Florida is going to be working non-stop to halt the screen pass. The screens were the only successful passing plays we had

Pump fake the WR screen, then go deep. The Vol coaches just don't appreciate the need to fool a defense once in a while. Florida has the philosophy on every play. That is why this game is problematic.

Something new might be Crompton playing well for the whole game.

Two tds to gerald jones? Beauty.
Missing warren, missing passes... not so much.

I was frustrated during today's game.
