Do we PULL for Alabama and Vanderbilt to win?

I usually pull for other SEC teams against non conference opponents, and east teams vs west teams. However I am also pleased if certain teams lose anyway, like Florida.

o Me this is not a good SEC FOR LIFE attitude to have. :)

SCREW ALABAMA hope they get the dog chit beat out of them.... I MIGHT pull for Vanderbilt just cause they never been in a bowl, long time anyway

I used to pull for other SEC teams but it is better recruiting wise for them to fail.

Until bama learns to lose again and Florida/Georgia learn to squander their incredible talent bases, we will be at a disadvantage recruiting wise.

Same thing on a smaller scale for Mid-State recruits and Vandy.

Depends. I'm ok with vandy. If bama plays Washington or theosu I'll pull for 'em. If it's Clemson I'll be a tiger. I hope swamp lizards lose each and every game they ever play.

Tennessee is the only SEC team I'm pulling for this bowl season. I'm pulling against Florida, Georgia, and Bama. I don't really care who wins or loses the rest of the SEC bowl games.

Wow. Lots of sour grapes this bowl season.

Still not pulling for bama or Florida. Vandy is a who really cares, so a no there too.

While I agree I enjoy seeing the other teams falter, the "SEC is the best conference" narrative is the one thing that's kept us afloat for the past decade. Clearly being the best conference allows even idiots like Dooley to bring in top-tier talent. Competing for recruits against other SEC teams is tough, but having a more level playing field with other conferences is only going to produce more viable options for recruits imho.

No pulling for teams we recruit against.
ESPN has created this conference vs that conference to add interest and viewers ergo advertising $$$$$$for them.
It proves nothing if one conference has a better bowl record it's about match ups and sometimes teams don't meet expectations in their season and lay down in their lesser Bowls, Could happen to UT this year.

SEC? We are Tennessee! You think Alabama pulls for us? You think Candy pulls for us! Heck no! I hope they all lose. I'll never pull for Alabama, and I'll never pull for Vandy!! and if you are really a Tennessee fan you shouldn't either! What would be great for us to if every SEC team loses and we roll Nebraska...in Nashville!!!

When playing the rest of the football world ----- GO SEC ----- it's us against them!!!!!
And like it or not we are SEC, not just Tennessee.

Wrong... Conference and area of the country (big 10) competition was around long before ESPN.

If you are in the SEC, it is your job to represent the conference well, and kick the crap outta those posers in other conferences.

However, that doesn't mean I won't be laughing my ass off if any of them get embarrassed. I hate Bama, and I hate Vandy. I hate Florida and Georgia even more. If they win, they should have. If they lose, they just proved they are the scum sucking trash we already knew they were.

Any questions?.........No interviews.

I think many football fans of other SEC teams like seeing other SEC teams win out of conference game. Likely as not most who don't support the SEC this way are the same kind of fans you here and see on the Paul Finebalm show spewing about Auburn and Bama (and some others). To me kinda narrow minded.
