Honestly, I think the AD has a couple of options in the works but want to wait to see how far along the Neyland renovations are by the first part of March before announcing anything.I don't think it can be that late. It has been announced spring practice starts the week of March 21 and by NCAA rules it must wrap up in 34 days.

My two cents is there is some kind of fan-centric event that uses only a portion of Neyland or involves other facilities on campus and no actual "game" as we have seen it in the past.
After the game was over and done, Austin Price and Bret Hubbs were doing their postgame wrap-up. A couple of times there were JD Gator ATVs hauling trailers of apparently slabs of turf behind them. Made me wonder if they slopped down temporary turf to protect the pro field. And, then watered it in. Is that a thing?Honestly as terrible as that field is, it wouldn't shock me
No clue but wouldn't be surprised. They even had the endzones looking like crap. I just couldn't believe how bad that field was for a Bowl GameAfter the game was over and done, Austin Price and Bret Hubbs were doing their postgame wrap-up. Thanks for the inside insight brother... always much appreciated. There will be nothing in Neyland Stadium in the spring, it is classified as a construction area, hardhat only, except in the sky boxes and suites. The spring game will be elsewhere, and there will not be any fan event in the stadium until the home opener.
Spring game is likely to be in Nashville, but will be before the end of spring practice. The plan as of now is to practice for three weeks, have the spring game in Nashville, then wrap up the final week or two.
