Do we have the dumbest fans????

Throwing the interceptions was Crompton's fault. Having him in the game to throw the second and third was Kiffin's fault. Kiffin admitted he learned a lot.

You truly do not realize how bad our alternatives are...as has been said many times, Crompton has beaten out Stephens 3 times under 2 staffs for a reason...

Any large fanbase is going to have their share of morons, on both ends of the spectrum. Personally I think those guys are on about the same level as the endless number of posts that have happened this week that talk about how they "like the position we are in", "the UCLA loss was good because now we're focused", and all the other spin bullcrap put on this game.

I've often thought our fan-base's IQ is a little lower than most, but what do I know...I'm part of it.

ha, I would rather win and cheer on an "unfocused" team.

I hate to say this, but I find it very very difficult to find a UT fan I can actually talk football with. I hate to say that but that's what I've experienced. They either are total rednecks who know nothing about football or are fellow students that just hear what I said around them and repeat it like they know what they are talking about. I literally listened to a fellow student of mine behind me in class talk about for literally about 10 minutes how Tennessee was stupid in their QB recruiting and should have brought in a JUCO that could sit behind Stephens and Crompton and then take over. I guess they'd never heard of Nick Laimison...everyone agreed with him and he thought he was a genius.

Maybe they were talking about a Josh Heupel type transfer situation?

I doubt it. If you heard the rest of what this guy and his friend were saying you'd have to dismiss any possibilities that made sense. This was just the tip of the iceburg of his lack of knowledge on UT football.

It's pretty well documented that Crompton is a practice QB. Now that Kiffin has seen it, I expect to see much more of Stephens in the coming weeks. I'm not a Stephens fan, but when a guy throws three picks the way he did you gotta go to plan B.

Fulmer tried this and switched back to who at the end of the season? We may see Stephens, but it's very possible that he is simply worse than Crompton.

Hey I'm on Co-op too, but I only know one other Vol fan. I'm in southern GA. Atleast you were able to see and hear a group talking. Im left talking to Georgia, Auburn, Alabama and Florida fans.

I think part of Crompton's ints had to do with Jones.. I believe they put him into motion about 5 times. UCLA caught on after the second time. And when JC expects to have a guy running a post and or coming back to GET the ball but instead he is going deep, that means trouble. I am not condoning what happened, Im just looking for a cause. "He sucks" is not reason.

I'm guessing you're not exactly a 'Dukie', huh?

BTW, how about Paulus? I never liked the guy, but wow, pretty impressive after a 4 year layoff.

Nope, I'm a East Tennessee transplant over here. Like many in the area. I haven't met many people born and raised in Raleigh.

Even Dukies will tell you that Durham is kind of a trashy city. That in and of itself doesn't make the Research Triangle any less prestigious though

this tells me all I need to know.

those are the same idiots that when Kiffin starts winning they will jump on the bandwagon as fast as they can. He will be the best coach since Bear Bryant and etc.....
I hate bandwagon fans, I will be a UT fan if we lose the rest of the games this year. But I am a beliver in Kiffin and the rest of the coaching staff and I cant wait to say I told you so in the next couple of years. By the way Saban and Meyer were 6-6 their first years at Bama and Florida and I think that our overall staff is better than theirs in my opinion. We are a great QB away from being a really good football team.

Honestly, how is this possible? Can you please explain? Crompton fumbles in crunch time and throws to the other team like he is a colorblind man out their just guessing which players are on his team. Peta ia probably on his back for killing so many worms. I mean how could Stevens really be worse? What is worse? I am waiting on this responce............

Meyer was actually 9-3 in year 1 at UF, but he inherited FAR more talent than Kiffin. And we also have to overhaul the O-Line in addition to QB before we will compete for championships again.
