Sure , Tennessee has a shot at beating Georgia . Georgia is loaded across the board and Smart is probably the top coach in the country right now , they didn't play great yesterday and still handled business . It's going to be a line of scrimmage battle and I hope Tennessee controls it. Neyland stadium will be loud and maybe it affects their qb , it would be nice to see Tennessee get some turnovers .

Hooker didn't play well at all against them. Neither did the oline. The receivers got stifled.
That was a terrible offensive performance down there. The next Tennessee qb to play great against them will be the first one in decades...
Josh Dobbs was 1 decade ago.

It all comes down to two factors, can the young wide receives get separation against SEC level competition?: Can the replacement DB's stop SEC level wide receivers? These are both questions that will not be answered until gamed. I Don't think UGA has an advantage on the LOS as they have the last few years, The worst case scenario is that it's even on both sides. UT 24 UGA 21

What’s the injury situation for this game? What DBs / Dlinemen do we get back?

Yes. Last year was competitive into the 4th and our offense is better this year. We'll have to win a shootout I think.
We have been competitive against UGA the past 3 seasons and they wore us down at the end due to their talent. Neyland is a great equalizer also

There are some who look at it through rose-colored glasses and refuse to consider anything that doesn’t involve sunshine-pumping the Vols as the greatest team on Earth, year in and year out.

Others take a step back and look at it more objectively based on roster talent, coaching, health, and experience.

I choose the latter. Will root for the Orange and White like I do every Saturday, but I do not expect us to win this game. If we can keep it close for 3 quarters I’ll consider it a step forward.
Vols have been competitive against UGA the last 3 seasons until late in the game, that's not a step forward

We can assume Georgia will play at their highest ability, that’s what Kirby gets from his players in the biggest games. Hopefully the Vols can meet that and more.

We have a shot. I am quite sure uga has kept a lot under wraps knowing they really didn't need it against their competition so far. They will bring their A game and we have to bring our A+ game. Injuries are huge. They simply have higher quality depth than we do. Our guys are gonna have to show up and be laser focused. No drops, no dumb penalties, no turnovers.

Not trying to be the wet towel, but even with their new QB, Georgia just outclasses us across the field.

On offense: they have an experienced and healthy OL and good weapons to get the ball to at RB, TE, and WR. Kirby is also the best coach in the country right now. Stockton doesn't have to play his best game to beat us, because he is surrounded by talent.

On defense: its a Kirby Smart led team. They have studs everywhere. They are smart. They prep and know how to beat our pace and space offense, like they have the last 4 years.

TheFilmGuy on Youtube (a Georgia homer, keep in mind) has said it best: teams simply do not beat Kirby by out scheming him. You have to have the jimmies and joes along with the X's and O's. This is why I doubt Heupel will beat him. Until we are within spitting distance talent wise, we will struggle. Their roster is LOADED with talent. Georgia is going to be a contender this year.
I saw some stats that we've rushed for more yards each year against Georgia and Heupel has never lost a game when we've rushed for more than 175 yards. That's the goal and I think we can do that Saturday. Our running backs look better, our o-line is better and more talented and our QB is a true running threat now. I think Aguilar's legs will be the deciding factor in this game and I think he will rise to the occasion.

I think it sets up well for us. We have the more experienced quarterback and its the other guy's first sec regular season start. We are playing at home and have a chance to show a lotI of unscouted looks for that game. I'm worried about the injuries and depths on defense, but if that side can get a little healthier before the Georgia game we should have a good shot at it.
If we bring our a game we will win,
