Do we beat FL for certain next year?

I'm not saying this is the reason, but I find it interesting that he leaves now. Especially with Tebow being a senior and all.

I don't think the timing is totally unrelated. Several of the reporters that spoke to him claim he's been thinking about this for several years. With no real chance at a title next year (especially if a lot of the juniors leave) it was probably as good a time as he was going to get to step aside.

I heard Herbstreit popping off about this last night. I wonder how all those kids at UF and their families that were recruited by Urban feel about him this morning? Think he told them the last few years he was thinking of bailing out on them while getting them to come to the Gators? LOL, this just keeps getting better and better.

Beating Florida for certain? With the talent they have? I could probably go down there, coach that team, and put up a good fight. Beating a very talented team like Florida is never a certainty.

I would say it is a factor for sure. I think Tebow had a huge impact on Urban in a lot of different ways. Maybe he was ready (due to health and family) and wanted to go out with Tebow. I don't guess I could blame him for that.

If adazzio runs the team next year, UT has a good shot. His offense did little this year. Look for an easy UT win.

Florida coached by a girl scout would still be a tough out. If we beat them it wont be by much, dont assume we are going to win.

Meyer just said at his press conference that he expects to be the Florida coach next season. Now he has an excuse if his trip to Knoxville doesn't go well.

Florida should be way down in talent and their coaching staff in disarray--UT wins this game easy---bank on it! UT 30 Fla 16

I believe VOLS will come out in black jerseys for that game and stomp their azzes. No Timmy Tebow wil be tough for Urban Crier or whoever decides to coach next year. See you in September Gators and all your arrogant non football IQ fans!

I disagree with this, and I am fairly sure we all read your prediction the first 3 times you posted it.

I have some optimism because of all the turnover and uncertainty at UF right now. Being honest, our talent is still inferior to their's and how have we earned the right to predict a 2-score WIN against the UF?

I bleed orange like everyone else here, but we are losing key players as well: Starting QB, C, G, RB, DT, OLB, S

The only thing we should be "banking on" regarding that game in Knoxville next year against UF, is that our coach will have brought in consectutive top 10 classes, and will have our team prepared to finally beat Florida. The best it has been prepared in 5+ years.

I'll take Florida and 7 points for anyone this certain to win the game. Name the price.

Coming off a tough game with Oregon, and breaking in a new quarterback? Anyone who thinks this game will be easy is delusional.
