That he is believed by them to be 1 of 4 targets at this point along with Hyman (South Carolina), Radovich sp? (GT), and Blackburn.

He is highly paid at or just over 1 million, but the thought is that TN may bump the pay given that they are moving from 2 AD's to 1.

I just don't see UT shelling out the dough. Granted, it may seem less cavalier to pay an AD a lot than a coach, it just doesn't make sense considering how we approached the basketball hire. On the cheap. I would imagine the AD will be similar, unless the trustees really don't fear/distaste that image. None of it really makes sense to me.
