I hate that if anyone disagrees with hat then all of his cronies get after them. It makes me not even want to come to the basketball forum. I appreciate the solid info he brings to the boards, but his nut hangers are ridiculous sometimes.

He never came clean over the Wisconsin-Milwaukee incident after the original mess all went down. He's yet to show any proof being "credible", but has a history of withholding or lying about information.

Why would he have to come clean 10 years later of a minor secondary violation at UWM?

But that makes no sense. You do realize how common secondary violations are at every school, right. I doubt any fan is waiting on him to hold a press conference on discussing a minor secondary violation that occurred I believe it was at least 10 years ago that resulted in no punishment that I know of.

Edit: You're right it was in 04, but it still is the same. Why would we care about a minor secondary violation in 04?

Bully for you. That's the big reason I dread to come to the BB forum. I have almost all of them on ignore by now, though. Try that and you'll read more, faster and won't miss anything.

Tvols75, just stop trying to disprove NYYvol. He obviously has some serious inside connections and knows the full scope on Pearl, as evidenced by his solid, factual based argument.

Pearl stays. Get over it and go cheer for Calipari. I am sure all of you holier than thou people have never lied. I don't condone it, but he lied, he is a good coach and he stays. We didn't hire him for sainthood.

Normally I could care less about a 1 time secondary violation. Point is, he made the mistake at Milwaukee and didn't learn. He did the same thing at Tennessee and then followed it up with lying about it and trying to get all parties involved to lie.

Some of you in this thread are ridiculous. Bruce did something bad and has apologized. If he screws up again he will probably be fired. Get over it.

The bottom line is that our program was nothing before CBP. We had never even been to an elite 8. It is possible that we would not fall back into mediocrity without him, but there is no reason to think that. We would have to shell out big bucks and get lucky to get another great coach / recruiter.

If you all want to keep hating on CBP and think he is such a bad guy, then stop being a Tennessee basketball fan. Since CBP is so bad you guys should switch to being bandwagon UK basketball fans. I have heard they have a great coach and he is a very scrupulous person. He has never lied or cheated in his coaching career.
