I hope Tennessee isn't looking ahead to Mizz and overlooking Troy this weekend. Troy should be a cakewalk but remember this isn't your Daddy's Vols. In rankings Troy in Passing is ranked 22nd while the Vols are 21st. Rushing Troy is 55th while the Vols are 70th. Points for Troy is ranked 65th while Tennessee is 31st, and points against troy is 63rd in the nation while the Vols are 104th. I know many will say that Tennessee has played more quality teams which is true, but remember Tennessee was beat by Miss State by 10 and Troy was beat by the same school by a touchdown.

I don't know how you would look over anyone if you haven't won a game in a month.

I anticipate a game similar to UT games in October with reversed roles. Troy should be in the game for 3 quarters. They should not win.

What would you guys opinions be if we were to shutout Troy or at least hold them to under 10. Would you feel we are starting to turn the corner defensively? What if we did it against Mizz as well? Just a thought, would like feedback.

This game has the making of a good ole fashion shootout. No punts.
First one to 60 wins!
No defense for the Vols, so Troy will drive the ball all over the Vols.
The crowd will rain out the boo birds, which btw those folks can just give me thier tickets and boo from thier couch. No place for that. Support your team for crying out loud.

Mississippi tried their hardest to beat themselves that game and still won. That said, thos game still scares the hell out of me...

When you go to war with a 275 pound nose guard anchoring your defense against a team with an offensive line that averages 315 pounds, mutiple skill players that run sub-4.5 40's and a quarterback who (when given time) can put the ball whereever he wants, you're going to lose.

Sorry. Vols win this one, and win big.

We didn't almost beat mutiple teams in the BCS top 15 to go and lose to Troy. I'm sorry. I just don't believe it.

Don't kid yourself. Troy's highest point total all year was 38 against 1-8 Florida Atlantic (whose 1 win came against Akron, in OT).

We should have no problem scoring points against them.
But I think their offense will make us looks like clowns in defense.
Have to cause turnovers
Whoever wins the turnover margins wins this game.
Those expecting a blowout will be nervous headin into the second quarter.
But hey, I would love to see the Vols lay 70 points on the board!

I been saying soon they will say We beat Troy Dooley is fixing the problem,lol
