Honestly guys, if Dooley gets fired to most everyone here's best wishes; WHO WILL WE HIRE? Dooley knew what he was getting into and he's man enough to deal with this crap, even from you all.
Listen to me: No top-dollar coach like Chip Kelly is going to come to a program in the toughest conference in the nation in the middle of an awful rebuilding stage. Nobody. Some want the "easy road" and go to a place where they'll easily win 11 games a year and a conference title. Others simply want to go to their home roots, which there is nothing wrong with that at all.
Dooley is 200 miles away from Athens, GA but yet he is STILL here in this mess and willingly trying to beat the hell out of his own dad's school. That takes guts. That is the "alpha-male" type personality that only SEC coaches these days have to have. That is truly something special. THAT is a Volunteer.
Even though most of you now have lost faith, I haven't. and as a fellow Vol, I beg of you not to push for Dooley's departure, it would be the worst move yet to happen to our program.
