Larry Porter for RB coach, Tee Martin for WR coach. I don't care how much money it takes, get them both.

Dooley was such an impact player at WR for Virginia, and a great teacher of the game overall!
This is the greatest news yet!

I don't know if you can get both without letting someone else go. I might be wrong here but I think there is a 9 Coach limit..

Hubbs just said the scenario that was told to me. Hinshaw's title may be moved to WR coach, and he along with Dooley would focus on that position. This would leave a spot open for RB coach.

I don't think anything regarding Tennessee football can surprise me now...I think we've broken the record this year for breaking the most bad records in a yr...(i.e. Kentucky streak, SEC losses, Bowl appearances, etc.)

It also allows T to come in a coach QB and let's Chaney have OL.

This is what I see happening if it all works out.

I can't give a real answer to this one ... don't have any film to study.

But I do have some of Dooley at Virginia.
Gotta admit, dude looked like a football player in pads.

I like it. Let Chaney coach a position has many times and the weakest link this year. That leaves no room for excuses next year, not that I believe there will be a need for any.

Since we are making coaching changes. How about letting Wilcox go and replace him with Mike Stoops? I still dont believe in his defense even after having statistically a better year. I too agree that we NEED to hire Larry Porter to coach the running backs. As far as the O line a change needs to be made there as well. Find out how much money Wisconsins O line coach wants and pay him. While your at it grab their QB/OC coach as well. With these replacements alone we will be back to SMASH mouth running and SMART QB play. Last but not least get over to Houston and snatch up their WR coach. That man has a track record...get him. Lets go Vols 2012!!!

Wilcox was holding the defense together this year with spit and duct tape. I, myself, would like to see him at UT one more year to see just what he can do.

Right now Dooley is coaching the running backs if I remember correctly. That hasn't worked out too well. I would like a good RB coach. I am not opposed to letting him handle receivers and hire a RB coach. At least CDD has played WR before. It could work. I like Chaney as an OL coach too. Who could call plays though? Chaney designs some nice plays, but doesn't seem to know when and how to use them if that makes sense.

Jay Graham for RB coach?

Jay and Tee for the Orange connection. Porter for experience. Try hard to keep Wilcox. because we need him. And cut Hiestand free, because we def could use something different there.
