Do Democrats enjoy paying more taxes?

That's how you interpret it. I and many other liberals believe to help the less fortunate instead of leave them to crumble. The only flaw was that people take advantage of it.

On the off-chance that you really do want to learn how the "other side" thinks and you're not posting in an effort to defend "your side", I will attempt to address this point.

Most everyone in America, regardless of political affiliation, believe helping the less fortunate is proper and good. In fact, idividual Americans give more in times of need than most Governments of other countries. Our benevolence isn't limited to other Americans. We give food, medicine, care, money, clothing, technology, and all sorts of aid to people of other countries; including our enemies.

The conservative side is that politicians are poor managers of the aid. They give money from others rather than allowing those other people to give money directly. The money that they give rarely improves the situation in a macro sense. And that money is siphoned off as it passes through the bureaucracy down to the recipients. Over the long term, the money becomes nothing more than a means to influence the beneficiaries to vote certain ways to keep the aid coming.

if it was solely a temporary hand up to those in real need that would be one thing. It has morphed into a lifestyle and a real revenue stream for those who want it. There's a reason more are getting disability than jobs in modern America

The successful are being told they got that way only off the backs of the little people and thus need to return more of their money back to the system. Meanwhile those in the system are removing it quicker than it can ever be replaced. Add on the huge failure that ACA will turn out to be and this country is on an unsustainable path.

We always hear politicians talk about limited/smaller government.

Can you name one president in the last 50 years that has actually decreased the size of government?

I cannot... And my guess would be that it has not and will not ever happen

Hey David Pakman made a video about it. It must be true gosh darn-it!

He is showing statistical figures
being skewed, did you even watch the video? Ethos at that point isn't even thy necessary to explain what he is saying.

I would never waste my time watching an uber liberal use hand selected "statistics" to push an agenda.

Are you guys really arguing over which network is the most biased? There is no unbiased reporting and anyone who relies on one source is going to be uninformed. The question is which kind of disinformation you prefer.

That's right. Infowars and The Blaze are the only legitimate news sources.

Wasn't as much directed as you can't read as much as not reading carefully.

It's not. Just don't be dumb. You insinuated I can't read by using a grammatically incorrect statement.

Random question, before you changed to your name to tumscalcium, you were tums. What were you before tums? I could have sworn you were someone else? Maybe not.
