I have found that those with looks often lack intellect.

More symmetrical people are more attractive. Symmetry is statistically correlated with intelligence. Multiple studies have found that beautiful people are more intelligent on average than non-beautiful people.

What they do with it and personalities are another matter.

My own independent study offsets that notion. At my young age I've noticed that attractive people believe they can get by on their looks alone while those who aren't quite as attractive actually put forth more effort in almost every aspect. In conclusion, those who aren't as attractive not only have a wider range of knowledge but are often the ones who make better partners in life.

Attractive people can't get by on their looks? Again, there is quite a bit of evidence that suggests they can and often do.

If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life never make a pretty woman your wife. From my point of view, get an ugly girl to marry you. - Jimmy Soul

I never suggested that. I said that less attractive people are generally smarter and make better partners in life because they work harder at it.

Less attractive people are more likely to flaunt their intelligence. It's human nature to use your strengths to influence people's opinion of you.

I have never been one to be intimidated by beautiful people or their beautiful friends. I have often attempted to strike up a conversation with beautiful people, but to no avail

I often wondered if it was the cologne I was wearing or the soap I had used to wash my arse, but I just think that I wasn't beautiful

How do you all feel?

I will never be intimidated by "beautiful people" because usually they are not really 'beautiful", but shallow and conceited and are therefore not worth my time (the "beautiful" people I've met, at least). The ones who are truly beautiful are the people who are down-to-earth and accepting of others, regardless of looks.

Way to stereotype.

You'd think I was shallow Raven, but still waters run deep.

You're welcome for the advice.
