Gmac and he is not going to ride the bench for two years.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha….that was not nice of me. I’ll rephrase it to fit today’s texting. lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol
No you're penning in a two year QB.If the concern is Faizon leaving, then Gmac should not get the chance to start and be successful......
There is a world where Gmac is actually good and is here into the 2028 season. In that scenario, Faizon doesn't see the field until 2029. So once again, why are we pinning the QB position for the next 2 years on Faizon possibly transferring?
No you're penning in a two year QB.
Heupel is not going to sit Fazion until 29, that's just crazy.
Gmac is not going to ride the bench for two more years either. If Gmac is as good as everyone expects and succeeds and wants to play his senior season here, he is going to get that opportunity.
This notion that he is merely a 2 year rental at best is just asinine.
If Gmac develops well and plays well at Tennessee, no one is going to be in a rush to run him off just to get to Faizon. That's the dumbest thing I've heard today
Gmac is not going to ride the bench for two more years either.
Need a one year QB.
Send a letter to Heupel about that.
Do you feel like Heupel can't develop his own recruited QBs?
Worked OK for Michigan (minus the HC banging a person on the staff).Heupel is closer to having a warm/hot seat than he is to an ice cold seat. Given his track record, he would be better off rolling into 2026 with that schedule with a QB with a significant amount of playing experience. Gmac / Faizon don't fit that. I personally wish Hype would go all in on a QB with multiple years of eligibility left so he can maximize continuity with his receiver room.
This isn't like 2024 where he spent all of 2023 as a transition year with a top ranked QB taking over.
Heupel has to rebound in a big way in 2026. Rolling out Gmac with zero experience or a true freshman Faizon is suicide.
He was pretty good in relief of Mertz when he went down in Tenn last year and a big reason why we won games at the end of the season we weren’t supposed to, he’s also is why we didn’t win the games we were supposed to this year, he’s regressed and assumptions are because of Billy but that’s yet to be determined for sure, good luck to him, no hard feelings, he hadn’t turned out to match the hype.Hard pass. He may be the next Heisman winner, but so far his resume is not good.
