Apologies if there is a thread for this game already. Anybody know anything about it? I haven't looked much into it, but the trailer here looks at least intriguing.

Bioshock was the first thing that came to my mind. Looks like all you do is the same thing throughout the game. Repetitiveness.

Anyone ever play Theif on the PC back in the day? This looks like Bioshock meets Theif.

Bearcat or anyone else that might remember, what was that game shown at E3 where the player can control different things in the environment. The character could change traffic lights or stop cars with some device. Is it this game? I can't remember what it was called and thought this may be it.

I think Watch Dogs or something like that.

After looking, this is not the one I am thinking about. This is set back in time versus the other that was real time.

Played through this weekend. It felt very similar to Bioshock. However, the environment and story didn't capture me like Bioshock did. I'd have the original Bioshock in my top 3 games of all time. Don't know if Dishonored makes the top 25.

I've never been more nervous playing a game than when I first played Bioshock; that game gave me hypertension.

I know I'm in the minority but I bought Bioshock and Bioshock 2 last year leading up to Halloween. Let's just say Bioshock 2 is still unopened. I didn't see the excitement in the game, personally. I also bought Condemned and thought that game was lame too. Just felt like I was playing computer games from 1995 or Halo with 5 weapons, all of which suck. I don't even think Halo is that great but I can see the appeal in it. Bioshock... wasn't even appealing enough to finish. Let's shoot a robot and save a child or harvest her. Let's do a puzzle at a machine. Boring imo. I really don't understand the appeal.

Sorry this was off topic from Dishonored. I'm so out of the loop that I didn't even know what this game was. 9.2 on IGN? Impressive. Or would be if they didn't give Bioshock a 9.7. I'd rather drink 9.7 beers and black out. To each their own though.

The best part about Bioshock is the atmosphere. Personally, I think it's fantastic. Different strokes, though.

As far as the original Condemned goes, i've always found it to be one of the scarier games I've ever played. But that's just me. It definitely feels dated if you're just now playing it, though. That game was pretty much a launch title back when the 360 first came out.
