Disgusted

I used to be the same way. It used to actually affect me, I would be hard to get along with....at least for a bit.

Now days I just let my anger out on here.....but it doesn’t affect me as a person at all.

Truthfully.....it never should have.
After suffering thru Dooley and Lyle I've become numb. I've given up NFL, NBA, and MLB for the "obvious" reason....I love the Vols and will never give up on them but I just don't have the same emotional attachment like I did. Its kinda sad actually.

Cool, a pro 1st Amendment guy. Hey, do you mind if I buy another AR or are you going to suggest to me what I should or shouldn’t do in that regard too.
Look feller. I don’t know how old you are but many disgusted Vol fans on this board still remember the great run we had through the 90’s through the early 2000’s until an idiot fired PF without a plan. What is disgusting is what the faithful Vol fans have had to endure since and yet here we are still full of hope that one day soon the Vols will reach the top of the mountain once again but knowing that it won’t happen with JG under center because he’s reached his peak and that is frustrating so it’s vented on here a little. Chill dude. We all have opinions. Not just you.
You are missing my point. Its just great to have college football to watch and not just the Vols.

Thanks for making me even more sad 😢

Just kidding

Same on pretty much everything.

I’m still into college football in general, and college basketball.

Ill watch the Vols even when their the Vandy of the SEC. it just doesn’t affect me personally anymore......continuing with the sad theme I don’t think the wins affect me the same anymore as well.

One day

With the football team? Thats a big NO. What I am disgusted with is all the negative comments and finger pointing on here. Have you folks forgotten how close we were to not even having a football season. Sometimes the other team is just better, but if you cant see that we are closing the gap then youre blind. You cant blame anyone person. Football is a team sport and our team got whooped in the 2nd half. But ya know what the sun came up again this morning. God Bless America and thank you God for college football.

You're exactly right and "sometimes" is every time we play UGA, Bana and UF

Me too

And that is the saddest thing about this for me..apathy.

I have a 19 year old son and yesterday we both just hoped he would see an SEC championship before he turned 40. Neither of us are expecting it though...

Apathy has set in with me as well. Same ole, same ole. I still root for a win, but don't get all worked up when they don't. Kind of sad.

It may take up to 5 years for all the “Butch” players to be gone.

A new coach needs like 5 years to get all of his players in the system.

Every coach needs a few extra years of recruiting, because the first few he couldn’t get exactly what he needed.

So in like year 8 we “might” get to see Tennessee beating good teams, or at least being competitive.

We simply need more time.....5 more years to be exact.

Not to get political....but what happens on Nov 3rd will determine if anything will mean s****t in 5 years. 🇺🇲

I’ll never be satisfied with getting smoked in a loss. I’m disgusted that it wasn’t a closer game. Especially considering that we were winning at the half
Exactly and one player is responsible for the momentum change and blowout.

lol

I shouldn’t laugh about this.....I just found the “not to get political” part funny....and I seriously laughed.....because one “has” to get political after saying something like that.

On a more serious note, I firmly believe you are correct.

If people are not at least “somewhat” prepared....in all kinds of ways.....they could be in for a huge shock at some point.

I’ve been trying to enjoy football.....and I have been (just not so much yesterday), because I know what could/may happen.

It’s called maturity. Nothing to be sad about. Having a team to root for is entertaining but way down the list of what’s important in life.

A new generation of fans has emerged the last 15 years. Much more forgiving but still loyal.
