With the football team? Thats a big NO. What I am disgusted with is all the negative comments and finger pointing on here. Have you folks forgotten how close we were to not even having a football season. Sometimes the other team is just better, but if you cant see that we are closing the gap then youre blind. You cant blame anyone person. Football is a team sport and our team got whooped in the 2nd half. But ya know what the sun came up again this morning. God Bless America and thank you God for college football.

I get what your saying and I am happy to that we have football to watch. But that still doesn't excuse what we witnessed. Will we be saying the same thing if Kentucky beats us? I don't know what the answer is but I am tired of us only winning the one we are supposed to win. Seems like we are still a long way from "back". But I still will watch and get my blood pressure up. Go Vols!

I used to be in a funk for several days after a loss like yesterday but now its like "Oh well".......

Trying to look on the bright side, at least I got to enjoy the 2nd quarter and half time which is an improvement.

This is fan forum. As long as it's respectfully done, fan critiques, opinions and discussions about gameplay in an open forum are just apart of the game. It can be insightful and fun even. I'm not with empty comments on players like "so and so sucks." though. Stuff like that is just stupid.

And that is the saddest thing about this for me..apathy.


I have a 19 year old son and yesterday we both just hoped he would see an SEC championship before he turned 40. Neither of us are expecting it though...

0-33 versus top 10 teams , a certain level of apathy sets in. No one here believes we have the offense or QB to get over the hump. May as well watch with a ho hum attitude this year. If they beat someone great, if not it's no surprise and life goes on. They're not making any money on ticket sales this year anyway..

I wish your son a long, happy life giving you many grandbabies as your legacy.
It is not likely he ever sees a SEC title.

It also should be no surprise that bottom feeders and also rans do not win very many games against top ten teams.

Cool, a pro 1st Amendment guy. Hey, do you mind if I buy another AR or are you going to suggest to me what I should or shouldn’t do in that regard too.
Look feller. I don’t know how old you are but many disgusted Vol fans on this board still remember the great run we had through the 90’s through the early 2000’s until an idiot fired PF without a plan. What is disgusting is what the faithful Vol fans have had to endure since and yet here we are still full of hope that one day soon the Vols will reach the top of the mountain once again but knowing that it won’t happen with JG under center because he’s reached his peak and that is frustrating so it’s vented on here a little. Chill dude. We all have opinions. Not just you.

I like beer and the buzz It provides. It sucks to lose like we did yesterday but it is nifty to get tipsy even after a loss. That is all I got right now.

Dude, I’ve tried to be positive about this team and it always turns out to be a huge let down.

I’m not saying to fire Pruitt yet but he seriously needs to make adjustments moving forward.

Pruitt is fine. He’s got our defense playing pretty scrappy, and with enough talent on the D line we’d have a very strong defense. Needs to make some big decisions on the offensive side.

I used to be the same way. It used to actually affect me, I would be hard to get along with....at least for a bit.

Now days I just let my anger out on here.....but it doesn’t affect me as a person at all.

Truthfully.....it never should have.
