And 10 of those teams would have exactly the same record as us (this year) if they had our schedule. It's bad, I get it but focusing on it doesn't help.

Are we doing the things we need to do to change that record? I think we are. Patience is very, very difficult virtue to keep.

I agree. I am actually very positive about where this program is headed and who is leading it.

I just had no idea it was actually that bad. the kool-aid is blinding.

It's an ugly statistic, but things will get better. Football is cyclical. SMU got the worst, the NCAA death penalty, and they are working their way back into some relevancy and success.

Should we have chosen to preserve mediocrity under Fulmer?

When you decide to get out of your comfort zone and seek improvement, you often end up having to work your way back up from the bottom, especially when your first experiment blows up in your face.

I would imagine there are some positive statistics out there that could be posted as well...

It will get worse before it gets better. The bottom will come in October, and last through November.

That is within the realm of possibility, but as long as we go up from there, I will be ok with that. At least we can have hope that we have reached the bottom. With Fulmer, it just seemed like a slow downward spiral.

Three coaches in three years and the "Clawson" experience as OC.

Put in perspective...it isn't nearly as bad as one would expect it could be.

Nice example. In 23 years do you think we can start to be important again, too?

this goes with what i thought UT would do this year in the SEC 4-4. once they get a coach that can establish something (just being there an entire year is somehitng at this point) that will go back to the 8-0 thur 6-2 realm
