As for the whole NON SENSE of this thread...
A) Jackson was cleared of involvement in the attempted robbery and drug charges.
B) Based on the info we have, he is at MOST guilty of having made the mistake of going to a quick stop late at night with a couple of idiots.
C) NO ONE outside the UT administration and Jackson's inner circle K-N-O-W-S for sure why he was suspended earlier or if he failed a drug test. Chris Low ran with a rumor... and THAT is the origin of this "fact".
D) The OP and several posters since have made assumptions about things they have no way of knowing and then have suggested that Jackson be punished because of what they assume to be true... conservatives and Christians should have a much better sense of justice and integrity than that. You don't punish people for what you assume... you punish them based on evidence and facts. If utfanuntilidie really does that job... and really approaches kids with a presumption that they are cut from a mold... then he/she REALLY needs to re-evaluate his/her suitability for that career.
E) Jackson is subject to a fairly rigid UT policy concerning behavior. If he failed a drug test... there's a procedure. That procedure/policy was tightened up after Coker was dismissed after failing 4 drug tests. Bottom line: He IS being handled within the constraints of the applicable rules and laws... Where do any of you get off suggesting that the rules should be changed after the fact to punish him more severely?
Amen. Well except Coker actually failed 5 before he was dismissed! But otherwise, couldn't have said it better myself!
