Was walking across the Henley last night after the win when a Florida car with stickers drove by and a Tennessee fan threw a water bottle at it pretty hard. The gator fans were rightfully upset and they stopped the car on the side and got out. The classless person who did it already ran off by then..

No amount of alcohol makes that acceptable.

It happens, maybe they stay home in two years. It's a water bottle. I'm sorry I know I'm acting immature but after FL runs their mouths off so much I'm happy for any nonjoyous moment for all of them.

Problem with that mentality is the ones that get punished may not be bad fans. It's no different than if another fan base targeted you and their excuse was other Vol fans were a-holes to them, and you did nothihg wrong,

People need to grow up.

Well that type of thing happens everywhere. And a water bottle isnt going do any real damage. So if say if you're a uf fan at tn after our history...don't drive the Cadillac.
I've heard much worse stories of our fans down there. I know one guy who got sucker punched walkout of the stadium and another who's tires were slashed when he got back to his car.

This kind of stuff happens to every fan base, nothing to see here.

I'm not condoning this behavior but, have you ever been to a game as the opponent in Gainesville? It can be brutal after a loss or a win.

Two wrongs don't make it right but I've seen worse behavior towards Vol fans prior to and after games at Gainesville. There's a reason their fan base has the reputation they are known for.

If two wrongs don't make a right then the rest of your post is irrelevant.

This isn't a "they are worse than us", it's about acting like a grown up. That kind of talk itself is rather childish, as it sounds like a bunch of 4th graders telling the teacher "they hit me first!"

I'm having a super hard time feeling sorry for them but that's definitely not good behavior by the Tennessee fan.
