Johnny Majors lost to Army and tied Army. If you don't play against the option, you can get bit. See Air force vs UT in 06. 31-30--

General Neyland Graduated from USMA and wanted no part of them throughout the last half of his tenure here.

I could have stopped after my 1st post in this thread.

I know that you would not put a win over a person’s well being. I have been picking and egging you on a bit. Sorry. It is a slow night and has been an incredibly sucky football weekend. :hi:

LOL.....Voldad, I agree, I was really hoping for a committment today to help with the tough loss! I am really surprised that this thread has gotten so many replies as it had. But, guess that's better than watching America's Funniest Home Videos!!!!! Go Vols!

The saying goes "no news is good news", but I don't think so. I would have thought the Athletic department would have come forward by now with some word about punishment for the "three amigos". They said, "they were still gathering information", but how long does it take to get info on a 10 minute incident! The KPD already has the info they need, now it's time for UT to act. It's looking bad on UT to just keep saying they're accumulating information. BS! Dole out the punishment and lets move on. It's already had an effect on one game, don't let it affect another this Saturday.

FAIL...I'm sure the people charged with accumulating, digesting & evaluating the pertinant information are losing sleep that you are disappointed in them...again...FAIL

Air Force has had 6 winning seasons this decade. Tennessee isn't the only power conference team that got a scare from them lately.

Being a member of the blue force, I root for the Falcons too. Family vacationed Colorado Springs in 97. We walked onto the field in June. Grass was 3" high & thick as molases. Beautiful, "quaint" stadium.

1) they had a game to coach/play. that comes first.

2) its best to make sure you are absolutley certain before you pass judgement. this is their future in your hands. 2 of the 3 are for sure done. its still not 100% determined what is to happen to the third.

these things should not be rushed. im sure that CLK and Hamilton are dissapointed in themselves for dissapointing someone as important as yourself.

Incredible stadium and setting. Pike's Peak is just incredible.

I was an Army brat. As a kid we were stationed at Colorado Springs. Pikes Peak was framed perfectly by our front window. Great place.

Damn. And my wife thinks I'm inpatient. I think it is Penn St. where it looked obvious where kids were guilty, and they were not. Now they are suing Penn St. I think there is a thing called due diligence.

These 3 players court dates are soon...Friday Nov 20th for either Nuke or Mike Edwards ( cant remember which ), and Monday Nov 23rd for both Janzen and the other guy. SO, I personally don't expect to hear a ruling from CLK or Mike Hamilton until after the court dates are completed.

One question.......there was an article on Volquest about the arrests and it said that late last week Tennessee expected the charges to be dropped on Janzen, however, there was new information Thursday evening that has prevented the charges from being dropped on him. Anybody heard anything about what that may be ???

I cannot blame you for being proud. Did you spend any time at Ft. Benning, GA?

Only TDY for schools. FT Rucker, AL was right around the corner. Used to head over and play golf with buddies in the Infantry Officer Basic Course.

Not to butt in uninvited but I grew up in Columbus.... Ft Benning is AWESOME! Too bad it is surrounded by the worst part of Columbus however.... My Dad was head of personnel at "snivel" service for several years. I love Benning. The infantry museum is a must see experience!!!

I grew up in Columbus. Graduated from Kendrick. Have you been to the new infantry museum (opened just this year)?
