Directv issue recording game

I just got an error message trying to set up my DVR remotely to record tonight's game. I contacted Directv and they said it is some issue with the way the game is being streamed by ESPN. They opened a tech support escalation as they are currently unable to resolve it. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, please call directv to complain as it may hasten resolution.

I set up to record several days ago on Direct. It shows it set to record.

I had the same problem trying to setup to record from my phone. I went to my computer and logged into directv and was able to set it to record. Gonna be steaming mad if it doesn't work.

Have you checked to see if the record function will work manually? By manually, I mean turn it to the channel the game is on and manually push the record button to see if it records what's on now. If it does, maybe you'll be able to record it once the game is on.

I have Tennessee set as one of My Teams and it automatically records every game. No issues here in Pa.

just did and it worked fine.

Sounds to me like the issue is with setting to record by remote, (phone, maybe PC). all looks good on my TV

I am in Knoxville and my tv is in Fort Worth, the laptop route appears to work, but I do not know for sure. The iPhone and iPad do not work.

Oh, then I guess it's kind of tough to do what I'm suggesting. Ha. Hope it works out for you.
