I've only watched football since 2009, and it's so emotionally draining when I don't even know what big seasons feel like...

I have direct tv but unfortunately that didn't help me any during the 2nd half of FL...I was still drunk stumbling around screaming, scaring the dog trying to talk my wife into going to the store for more beer:crazy:

That is a very accurate representation of the gameday threads. I saw it and immediately came here to ask if that guy posts on VN and to applaud his work.

I have DirecTV, and after the game on Sat, I threw my empty bottle of Jack thru the TV screen. I'm waiting till we actually win one in the 4th Qtr b4 I buy another TV. Got plenty of Jack. Need it to listen to BK. Maybe Nike has sent some duck unis to play in the rain Sat. We do need a change in philosophy for an amazing duck race Sat nite. I still love the sense of humor our fan base has. Players better be hostile though.

Com'on Butch; let's not be like the guy with cable (2nd Half Butch Jones). Even Fox Sports noticed this parody.

Butch is now know 'round the world as Choke-A-Matic. From now on, every time a football coach chokes and blows a lead late in the game, due to poor game management and being way too conservative and predictable...the media will say they pulled a Butch (Jones).

Only one way to change that perception. Stop doing it. Please, let today start a new trend of putting the hammer down in the 2nd half and not letting up til the final whistle blows.

I thought the funniest part was him saying under his breath "(I'm choking....) Guys, let's quit! (I'm choking)!" Cause that's pretty much what he made the team do, with their uber-conservative/predictable play-calling....on BOTH sides of the ball.

That just has to stop TODAY, and not come back the rest of the year, or we will have a team-wide attitude collapse and not even make a bowl game. THAT will get Butch fired...just watch...if he doesn't put the kibosh on this horrible choking trend.

Al Golden, at Miami, is catching hell for doing the same thing and he will be coaching for his job the rest of the season
