“Great coach”? He’s 30-25 for his career, 8-16 his first 2 seasons at Syracuse. We’ll see what he does going forward, but absolutely NOTHING says he’s a “great coach”.

He is definitely an offensive mastermind. Syracuse was a hot mess, much worse than UT as they don’t have the facilities.

Like any other coach, it takes a minute to get the type of players that fit your coaching style. First two years are a wash because he didn't have those players. He might be a hot commodity somewhere in the future. He seems to put up loads of points. Defenses might be a little suspect.

Eh, his most impressive game this year is a close loss to Clemson with their 3rd string QB.

The wins are against complete garbage teams, including FSU. That was much more of an embarrassment to FSU than some big accolade to Syracuse.
